Heck of a game the 2 best schools in the Summit since 2007. Always ready for a good game between these 2 teams. I would not be shocked at all if SDSU wins a game in the NIT.

With the autobid the Jacks get for the #1 seed in the Summit League, perhaps they can get Frost
rocking for a game or two in the tourney. Should help their chances that SDSU can sell some tickets as a host school.
The NIT kinda likes that.
I also like SDSU's chances to win a game or two, especially at Frost. NDSU has that familiarity-thing going with SDSU where Richman and staff knew how to defend them, and also were able to dictate the pace of the game accordingly.
Marshall and Parks were a combined 7-26 from the field, I'd like to think the Bison D had something to do with that.
So the Jackrabbits may have more success against a team less familiar with them and what they like to do.

No one I talked to or know associated with the Summit in SF are expecting Omaha fans to show up in large numbers if the teams make the conference tourney next year. From the way they talk Omaha draws very little to home games and seems a very distant third to Nebraska sports and Creighton.

The Sports Authority in town is trying to figure out why USD fans aren't supporting their teams better.

100% agree! I was at the game Tuesday and since I now live in Sioux Falls, I went with friends and co-workers who were all Jacks fans and the atmosphere was electric and both fan bases were very respectful to each other (save for a few too drunk fans). I will say though that the Jack fans did not appreciate the Bison Horns and yell of "Bison" at the end of the national anthem, that drew quite a bit of boos, but Jack fans should have known that was going to happen...

With the increased capacity of the Premier Center hopefully there will be even more NDSU fans in attendance in years to come, but with the finals being on a Tuesday I can understand that with work and school, etc. it can be hard to travel mid-week like that.

And it was quite an accomplishment for all the attendance records being broken for the girls games as well.

Itll be a toss up between the 2 dakotas next year. I think SDSU is deeper, more talented and have more consistent scorers nightly...plus they improve by losing Larson...NDSU will just dirty you and return a lot who wont be intimidated.

SDSU board is good. One guy says we won't finish in the top half of the Summit, a couple others say SDSU #1 next year, followed by ORU. They seem to think we are doomed because we lose one player. Looks like Brookings needs another dose of reality.

People everywhere (including many Zag fans) are basically dissing Gonzaga and saying they are overrated based on their performance vs NDSU, and the fact that NDSU got blown out by Texas and Iowa. People do not have any idea how much better NDSU is now vs start of the season. If Iowa fans think their next game will be easy based on transitive property using NDSU they are in for a cold shock. I hope Gonzaga slaughters them

What proof do you have that he was any good? I don't even remember him playing!!

He played some decent minutes his freshman year but basically just mop up duty this year. Transfers Marshall and Parks def impacted his minutes but he was passed by others as well.

Broman was big time scorer in high school but believe the competition he played wasn't great. For whatever reason it didn't work out at SDSU, my personal opinion is he wasn't quite a D1 player.
