Any updates on the status of former Bison players in the NFL? Has Lamar been signed by anyone yet? How is Rob Hunt doing? Jared Peck? The former player (Alvin Robinson??) who tried out with Tampa Bay?

I haven't heard any updates in a while and cuts are coming up on Tuesday so I thought I would check and see if anyone had any info.

I've been looking for news on Lamar, too.
It seems like there is not a lot of talent out there for teams looking to add running backs.
Aug. 22 is the last time I heard anyone mention Lamar's status. This from the Philadelphia Daily News:

If Davis isn't the answer, there doesn't seem to be a long list of attractive alternatives. Cleveland presumably would still like to trade Lee Suggs, the guy who failed the Jets' physical, voiding a trade last week. Last year's stopgap, Lamar Gordon, isn't playing anywhere. Neither is now-36-year-old Dorsey Levens. As far as that goes, Steve Van Buren might be available, too.

But clearly, there is a now-acknowledged need there. Much of quarterback Donovan McNabb's media session yesterday was devoted to discussing how much Davis would help, though McNabb kept stressing that he wasn't saying Davis was going to be signed. If Davis isn't the answer, there doesn't seem to be a long list of attractive alternatives. The Eagles brought in 32 year-old free agent Stephen Davis who was released injured from Carolina at the end of last season.
It didn't sound like the Eagles were real impressed with the results of Davis' physical, though. With lots of injuries to their current lineup of RBs, it seems like Philadelphia needs to do something.

As early as Aug. 8, Delaware Online (The News Journal) was anticipating there might be renewed interest in Lamar:

Any minute now, the phone might ring for Dorsey Levens or Lamar Gordon.

Yep, it's that time of the year again.

The oft-injured Eagles running backs corps suffered another setback Sunday night when Bruce Perry sustained a concussion late in the fourth quarter of a 16-10 loss to Oakland in the Hall of Fame Game.

I think it would seem unlikely Philadelphia would hire Lamar Gordon back after last year unless they were desperate.
Maybe they are.

The best news coming out of this for Lamar fans (like me) is that there are not a lot of running backs available.
As the season goes along, someone's going to get injured, someone's going to need some help, and someone's going to call Lamar.

The Packers will being playing on Monday Night Football and we could see some of A.J. Cooper at FB since he's 3rd string and start William Henderson was down last I heard.

There's a story in their website about how they are working towards cross training TE's and HB's for the FB position. With the athleticism that A.J.'s shown in the past at the TE position this could be good news, although the odds are definitely stacked against him. Especially with the roster cuts coming up on Tuesday.

Alvin Robinson isn't listed on the Buc's depth chart. I wasn't really able to find much else about him.

Isaac Snell looks to be listed in the Jet's roster, but they don't have any official depth charts released as of yet.

Looks like Rob Hunt is listed at the 3rd string LG for the Broncos.

I am curious if anyone knows what happend to Jared Peck. He played NFL Europe, but never came back on the Carolina Roster this season.

Just got home from the Broncos game here in Denver. Rob was dressed and on the sidelines, but saw no action. as a 3rd string guard, it doesnt appear he will make the 53 man roster...what that exactly means i am not sure, as far as practice squad possibly or being straight cut. If i hear more I will post it.

I saw AJ at Wings after the game with Delabare. They are both student coaches this year.

I talked to Brad Klabo at the game on thursday. He said Jared Peck hung it up.
