By no means am I an Oregon fan, but what does their uniform have anything to do with how they perform on the field? The players don't pick what they wear and I highly doubt they are helping with the design of any uniform. They have arguably the nicest facilities in the nation (locker room, player's lounge, weight room, etc) and if they aren't utilizing them, then yes, they are wasting talent. But to say they are more worried about their game day gear is just ridiculous.

They care because they are given these amazing uniforms as they are the test school for Nike. I would care about that too as they save hundreds of thousands of dollars, if not millions (collectively) on apparel.

It's the same reason why NDSU loves Scheels and Gate City so much.

Maybe the problem with Oregon (not that getting to the championship game is a problem) is that the order you listed their facilities reflects their actual priority.

Locker rooms, uniforms, and players' lounges don't improve their guys as players or as students. Basically, Oregon is spending millions and millions of dollars to treat players like metrosexuals on a spa weekend. And Ohio State pounded them into a thin paste with a 3rd string QB, despite being -4 in turnover margin.

The ducks entire program culture is soft and ....bazaar, not even quite sure how to describe it. Tons of money, weird amenities that some people find cool, and others (myself included) find stupid and anti blue collar toughness producing. To each their own. I view them as rich, soft yuppies and the campus itself gave me that feel when I was there. Personally I hate most of their uni combos but then I prefer a non constantly changing mentality more like Ohio state or Bama.

My wife and I were both talking about this last night as well. I think it would be awesome.

Oregon just got man handled last night. Simple as that. Just overpowered from half way through the first qtr. A couple of early drops didn't help confidence, but in the end, Ohio state ran on them like NDSU would run on HS team and Oregon D couldn't get off the field. When they did via a Ohio State mistake, the offense either gave it right back or would fail to take advantage. The Oregon D had to be exhausted.

Impressive game to watch from a run game standpoint.

I thought the jerseys were interesting but didn't make sense to me as well. At least use some green and yellow.

I didn't have a dog in the fight. I have always liked Oregon but started pulling for Ohio State. I'm not a big fan of Oregon's offense or any time of hurry up offense like theirs in general.
