I think the Crockett cold blooded connection to Carson in Western should make the list.

The best part of that was him getting after the dick that cheap shotted him a little bit at the end of the play.

And then #85 steamrolling him shortly afterward. Tough series for that guy.

Not gonna lie. This thread makes me a little sick to my stomach. Somebody just spoke in the ninth inning of a no-hitter. Lock thread, please.

What? There will be no more plays in 2014. The Bisonmedia blog is doing the bit, settle down.

The 2014 Season has another ten days to go. If somebody wants to hang his hat in the closet before the day is done, that's on him. I'd rather not have to put up with it.*

The National Championship is in 2015 so 2014 top plays are ok. Sometimes you have to enjoy what we have done because win or lose it was a great season

Well, they somehow left out the K St win as being monumentally important for the program last year, so my number 1 picking ability is in question. But, if I had to pick the best moment so far, has to be the Wentz to RJ throw in the playoffs against SDSU. That was completely cold blooded, and the type of throw that makes me think Carson has a chance at the next level.

Indeed. They better have Colten Heagle blocking that punt against Towson as #1.

Also, there was one play just before the end of the half in one of NDSU's games where NDSU ran a play simply so the offensive line could beat the sh*t out of some loud-mouthed player on the other team's defense. That play should make the list. Arg... can't remember. It was #8 and I want to say Indiana State. He ended up with 900+ lbs of offensive line on top of him.

I am assuming that most of these top 10 plays that the BisonMedia Blog will list will be offensive plays. However, I love to watch our defense out there taking care of business. So, in my opinion, we need to give some love to the Bison D.

I still get excited when I see the replay of Schaetz de-cleating that Iowa St. running back. One of my favorite plays of the year:

My D play of the year. Carlton Littlejohn hauling down that kid of the fake FG at Weber St. That was a game saver.

Good call. Man did I get excited when that happened!! I let out a couple of "WooooHoooo's" and pissed off some Weber fans around me. My dad actually kind of said to tone it down a bit, which he never does. And I said "If that doesn't get you excited, then nothing will!!"

yeah that was two on one and he owned them both. The shed of the block was awesome and then to finish the ball carrier.

Didn't Schaetz do the exact same thing in a recent playoff game. These type of tackles remind me of the Big Boss Man's sidewalk slam.

Well your brother is standing right next to me with one in wide open view, there's an empty can at my feet, Bison Gal has one and there's one at her feet as well.

We probably couldn't have gotten a keg and dressed it up like that Mo State kid and it wouldn't have gotten a second look. The security there was pretty comical.

Ugh. That was pretty much the view from my seat!

We had some hope in that game . . . for a few minutes at least. And that was when our defense was healthy!

Bryce Petty for Baylor made just about the same play in the same spot a few weeks later.

Hey what's Matthew McConaughey doing on the sidelines celebrating at the end of the Crockett Play with the OL? Maybe he was following the Herd, and thought he was at Marshall? Looks like he's pretty pumped up for Herd football! McConaughey just shows up when you least expect it.

Monster game for Littlejohn but his rundown of the ball carrier on that fake fg was more impressive. The game was still very much in doubt at that point and he ran through one block and ran down the carrier with amazing speed on the outside to save the TD. Weber State scores there and it was a one possession game where they have all the momentum.
