I have had a lot of good times at the Shop at Legacy. Year one was amazing and 2 and 3 were great also. But this year I have talked the owner into stepping it up a notch. They will have that parking lot closed and a tent with DJ and bands and bars and all kinds of fun.

Dreams do come true!!

Yeah alumni association asked them to wait til 9 to start. If they did then they would promote it for a fee.

Bison03

The Pep fest was too small the first year, better the second year, and probably peaked last year. For people who have never been to Frisco for the game before, they will want to go and be a part of it; especially if they are with their kids. For most people it's more of a "Been there, done that" mentality and just want to find some Bison fans and drink and have fun. This party sounds like the place to be for those people.

Will it sway your decision either way if a cover exists?

SDbison
12-31-2014, 04:07 PM
Will it sway your decision either way if a cover exists? Let's say there is a cover and it is $5 or $10.........still getting more for that (live band) than the $15 each for the pep fest.

Bison03

Will it sway your decision either way if a cover exists?

Let's see...
Flight: $325.00
Hotel: $400.00
Rental Car: $100.00
Game Ticket: $55.00
Food/Drinks: $150.00

Paying a $5-$10 cover: HELL NO, I ANIT WASTING MY MONEY ON THAT!!

Yeah, I'm thinking start Friday at Wild Pitch, hit up the BN Celebration, then back to this party of the ages. Somehow get back to hotel room, nap, wake up, start it all over again at tailgating. If things go well Friday night, rinse and repeat minus the celebration hosted by NDSU (had to be technical as there will be plenty to celebrate Saturday night).

I don't think anyone said they were "worried" about a cover charge. It is just good information to know. For example, If I am having an excellent time at another establishment on Friday night....and I know it's $20 just to get in the block party....I might just stay at the establishment that I am currently at and continue to have an excellent time. If I know the block party is free....I might say, wtf lets go check it out....if it sucks we can come back here and continue to have an excellent time.

1. As long as you're of age, age doesn't matter.

2. Never act your age

3. Party

4. Rinse and repeat Saturday

5. Post pictures of said party so Teach can see what he's missing out on

If any of you are like me and are beer snobs, Ringo's seems to have a fantastic beer menu.

Nice to see a bar with 4 beers on BeerAdvocate's top 250 list (Weihenstephaner and La Fin Du Monde I have had and are amazing, St Bernardus ABT and Ayinger Celebrator I have never tried but will try for sure) as well as a TON of other super highly rated beer.

I'd likely go to a bar like this without the block party...the block party is just a great added bonus.

Suggested a good promotion to owner for former athletes, I think he may implement it and start promoting it today

I thought Ringos was a teammaker at one point. not sure how to check to see if they still are.
