TICKETS CAME TODAY!

My tickets came in the mail today from The Goofers ticket office. $13 a ticket for section 141 row 2 seats 20-23. Along with my $13 paid per ticket for 2nd row seats, I got 4 vouchers for a hot dog and pop. How could I pay $25 a ticket for nose blead seats through NDSU? I feel terrible though. As far as the deal I got, you can't even make up stuff like that. I feel like I am robbing the Goofs! ;D

Ive never gone to sporting event (including Gopher games) or concert (including the Rolling Stones) where tickets were not available on the street in Minneapolis. I have also bought tickets from street vendors prior to a Rolling Stones concert in Las Vegas and the AFC championship game at the Orange Bowl a few yrs back.

Tickets will be on the street in front of Huberts and on the Plaza. They will probably be selling for less than face value. When they ask for the printed price just say no and offer 50%.

I got my tickets in the mail today from the Gopher ticket office. I got 16 of them in section 101 8 in row 2 and 8 in row 3 seats 25 to 32 in both rows. I got a group discount rate so they only came to 10 bucks a ticket. Not a bad deal at all. So watch for us wearing are green and yellow down in the endzone except for the 2 sioux fans who are coming along with are group.

I just looked at a Metrodome seating chart and their isn't a section 240. However, section 238 and 239 are in the upper deck endzone. Does any know if this is correct? To me they couldn't have given NDSU any worse section than these.

What do you expect....you didn't actually think they would give the away team good tickets did you? Away teams always get bad seats. Thats why I got mine through the gophers ticket office

So if NDSU ends up having lets say 17,000 fans at the game how does this compare to the number of Wisconsin, Michigan, Iowa or Iowa State fans that attend a Gopher Game? I am assuming with those rivalry games it would be hard for the opposing team to have more than 20,000 of their fans in attendance. Not only could NDSU have one of the bigger away team attendances, but by percentage the Bison fans could near equal or exceed Gopher fan attendance. Anybody have any idea on past opposing team fan numbers?

I have heard estimates in the past of 30,000 Iowa fans at the Metrodome.

Yeah, my friends here in Iowa laugh because they say there are about as much black scattered throughout the 'Dome as there is maroon. Not to mention they can be just as loud as the Gopher following during those games. How embarassing that must be for the Gopher faithful. :-[
