After going to the last three title games, I must miss this year's tilt do to starting a new job earlier that week. Yes, I could probably request time off, but I'm thinking it's not the best idea.

I'll be watching on TV in Bemidji...I may even organize a watch party.

I've seen each natty on TV in the Twin Cities, usually with my kids and wife. Only times kids ever see me jumping, screaming, and basically acting like a nutball.

you can always find a new job, you cannot watch NDSU become the 1st team to win a 4th straight title ever again.

Sorry there's at least 20-25 of us that won't be there this year.

I'm taking my family on a ski trip to Montana, returning early the morning of the 10th. Made our reservations in July.

We'll be watching on TV with our neighbors.

I remember a few people telling me I would regret not going to the first one (my wife was pregnant and we were an at risk pregnancy. So I wasnt going anywhere). I went to the 2nd and 3rd ones. Im gonna watch this one at home with my little boy and I wont regret a thing. So get over yourselves.

Honestly could care less who isnt going. Just stating my priorities. Tons of jobs out there, lots of kids looking to be adopted and damn sure a lot of females looking to get hitched. This game however is a once in a lifetime opportunity for me and I cant miss it. Not saying I am better fan than you or anything like that. Honestly you saying you werent at the first and that was my favorite trip, I thank you for not going this year. GO BISON

Good for you. In the end it is just a football game and there are much more important things in the world that Bison football. Now saying that this is the first trip to Frisco that my son and I get to take so we are super excited.

I think posters in this thread should also be posting what make and model of TV they will be watching on. I think it might make it a little more interesting.

The one year I was not in Frisco, I watched the game on TV; obviously. Anyone else remember the college basketball game that was running late and prevented us from watching the start of the game? Man, was that 5 minutes of hell!! Did that happen at all in 2011 or 2013? I wonder of they would delay the start now. They did delay the start of the NDSU/Sam Houston game 10 min or so because of the game airing before running late.

You're inviting that obnoxious SOB to your tailgate? LOL -- I've known him since we were 5 or so (50 years now). We were in the same class for 12 years (13 counting kindergarten) and played baseball together every summer from ages 5 - 18. :)

Yep. There was a lot of jealousy the last couple years among our classmates. We were the only 3rd graders allowed to leave school grounds for smoke breaks.

For all those who can not make it I know you will be just as revved up and excited as those of us at the game. Yes life happens so that we can not always go to the games. I am fortunate that I am able to go with Swag and the kids. This is the last year that Babette will be for sure at home with college next year. A future Gold Star Marching Band member woohoo. So this will be the last time we can go all together. Would not miss this for the world as it is more than the game it is about family.

I will likely be watching on TV unless someone wants to fly me and my 6 year old son and get us tickets for free. We saved up money for last years and first year we took advantage of a nice work bonus that was a bit unexpected.

I would love to say financially I could just hit the road and know I can afford it. Was 1/4 expecting this team to make playoffs win a game or two (yeah yeah I know!!) planning on trying to save up for possible next years trip.

Anyway any good location to go in Fargo where I could entertain a 6 year old and not have to watch him too closely!!?
Sent from Win8 phone on a bullet train from Hillsboro.
