The only thing that sucks about this game being played a week later is that I will miss the Broncos Divisional Round game if they are playing on Saturday, but the Bison are worth it if they do.

It really isn't a bad drive if you split into 2 days. Last year got going at 4:30am on new years (wed morning) made it to Topeka while still light 2-3 pm and was a easy 6-7 hour drive the next day. Had a 8 month old and 5 year old. Coming back was a bit of a drag as we got a late start and stopped to see brother north of OKC. Luckily for us that sorta cleared up some road conditions.

Tailgate and game on Saturday, followed by reservations at Capital Grill Saturday night. Big slab of rare beef, some good scotch and a cuban to round out the night. Out of DFW on the Delta 11:00. Back in Fargo by 1:30, pick up the kids and I'm down for a nap by 2:30.

Flying out of MSP Thursday early afternoon for about $400, bought after the CCU game with change insurance just in case of SHSU game mishap. Could always use air tickets to go somewhere warm the rest of winter. So paid $100 extra but saved over $200 by booking early. Be home supper time on Sunday

I just took at look, and they are asking 60K RT for use of miles on this. Prices are very close to $700 as you said, so cpm is about 1.2. I'd recommend folks use any fixed value "miles" that are worth more then a penny each (UR, TY points with Premier, Wells Fargo points) due to this as you can get more than 1.2 for Skypesos plus you still earn Skypesos. But, if your only option, I'd do it.

All 3 previous years we left Thursday after work from Fargo and drove through the night. We arrive in Frisco around 10:30am get rested at the hotel before heading out on the town. We will be doing the same thing this year again.

Oh didn't see any road side cameras in Sioux City but there is a large over the road sign that had a camera mounted on the sign support not sure if it is a webcam for weather traffic flow purposes or the speed cam...

I remember the first year wondering where to go and who I might be able to hang with and have some beers. After your down there you realize you will hang with everyone everywhere all day and night.
