As I said on Chat last night.....the NU defense against the run makes me nervous. Va. Tech only gained 111 yards on the ground against them. I think this will be decided in the 4th qtr. with the Bison winning by a score of 17-14.

That is why NDSU will have to throw the ball. Walker to White baby! As long as the O-line gives White time to throw.

WYO, trust me... *NDSU will be up by a minimum of 17 going into quarter #4

You can't look at the VT game as a guide (you can, but it won't be very accurate), VT was up big in a hurry and called off the dogs. *You need to look at game #2 where there is supposed to be the most improvement. *Sacred Heart gave Northeastern all they wanted in the first half and trust me.... *we are no Sacred Heart. *Sacred Heart would lose to NDSU by at least 28. *If Northeastern could only muster 28 against them , how much do you think that they will score against NDSU? *I say, less than 14 points. *Northeastern was picked at the bottom of their conference, I know that their conference is good, but not that good. *They will get beaten by NDSU soundly.

Rocky will have to try for win number 100 somewhere else, cause it aint going to happen in Fargo.

But, remember...... I also predicted that we would go 10-1 *;)

It takes a GOOD playoff team to even hang with the Bison in the Dome. Northeastern is nowhere near close to a playoff team even if they are running the "elusive" 3-4. Expect a # of sacks this weekend. They have a very young OL, and I guarantee they have no answer for Joe Mays. If the Bison can take away the run, its over.

They may slow Steffes a considerable amount by stacking the box as I'm still not confident our running game is where it should be, but their inexperienced secondary will be scorched many times. White and Heck will make these guys look silly.

34-13 Bison.

I'm not sold on our ability to stop the pass or the run, and I don't think our offensive line is seasoned enough to handle the noise and pressure of playing in the Fargo Dome.

Rocky's going to have a special game plan but NDSU has too much talent, Bison by 13.

It seems as though very few I-AA games have been easy. I look for a closer game than most people.

I agree, plus Rocky will have his team ready. The experience of playing Virginia Tech should also help them.

I just don't see NDSU scoring many points in this one... Northeastern's defense is going to be good and their drives will take up a lot of time. I'll just predict NDSU's score: 24.
