Looks like a not so pleasant day in Bozeman for the Jackrabbit's visit. Rain and snow in the morning, changing to all snow in the afternoon. High of 33. Winds at 10 to 20 mph. 3 to 5 inches of snow expected.

Even by our standards that's a shitty ass day! Dangerous travel weekend

If that forecast holds true, it will be interesting to see the stats for the two offenses.

Since Coastal was able to put the smack on the Griz last year in Missoula I'm not too worried!

A good O will typically shine in these kind of conditions over a weak D. The offense knows where they are going to go, cut, break off, etc. so the defenders are always playing catchup and if your LB's don't make the right reads and your corners turn the wrong way and your safeties don't take the right angle the first time, expect the better offense to n run up some big numbers in the snow. IMHO I think we will see SDSU run for many Zenners and pass the for a few more. My hopes of the Backouts coming to the Fargodome will be dashed.

The weather is no excuse. These are both northern teams who should know how to deal with it. Go Bobcats!

Bad weather will favor a good running game. Remember Terrance West at E. Illinois last year in the snow? 354 yards and 5 TD's. Now, ZZ in no West; but with bad weather he might be poised for a big game.

If MSU is healthy SDSU might not be a bad match up for them. SDSU does not have a great DL but if MSU doesn't have their QB it is going to be hard for them to win regardless of SDSU's mediocre run defense. Their back up is just not that good but their starter is the kind of player that has given SDSU issues. No clue on the third string guy.

Where you beat MSU is on the lines, I remember our DL just abusing their great QB when we played them in 2010. Griz DL also abused their back up last week. If you aren't getting pressure though MSU's offense is capable of putting up some points in hurry. SDSU is last or second to last in the MVFC in sacks.

Dude runs hard. Can't imagine they will have fun hitting him in the cold.

Give Zenner 40 carries in the cold weather and let's see if he's up to snuff next week

yup look at ccu/UM, EWU/Towson. Towson/EIU. defenses had trouble stopping good offenses in the bad weather. made it tough for cutting and lateral movement for the D

Notalotof excitement in Bozeman over this cold weather playoff game.
The Griz blowing the Cats out last weekend didn't do anything to fire up the fans.
As of Friday night only 7200 tix sold. Hope MSU gets a lot of walk-up biz
from people waiting to see how bad (or less bad) the weather turns out to be.

you realize there are a lot of us here...who dont feel bad for you. We want MSU. Not because we don't like you. But because they have a date with Karma. So pardon me if I have no sympathy for you right now.

South Dakota State fits right between there too.

I'm another one that would normally be rooting for the Bunnies, but looking for the chance to kick MSU's ass.

Good luck anyway...

Sympathy also comes between sheep and syphilis, both are something SDSU people are well acquainted with. Hope MSU pounds you.
