I needed the bye week as bad as the team. I can focus on family this weekend. Then it will be all football until we bring home the trophy.

I'm really looking forward to watching these playoffs unfold. Though I think the list of potential champs is fairly small, there is some really good football being played across FCS and the 4-Peat is really going to have to be earned. This is the best MVC talent I have ever seen the conference field. Last year was a cake-walk; this one wont be. Should be a fun challenge

I've watched three plays so far and my analysis is that Missouri State would blow the doors off of either of these teams. The difference between the bottom teams of the upper echelon conferences which is probably just the MVFC at this point, and the NEC conference champions is about 5 touchdowns. Hell, I'd go so far as to say that the worst team in the Fluff would beat these teams.

The main reason I never got hooked on AGS was because of stuff like that. IMO Lehigh fans are the worst. They never play anybody and then point to a 3 point win over a terrible CAA team as proof that they belong in the playoffs. Also, every conversation with them digresses into how much more renowned their academics are than everyone else's.

I was not even considering the slide, looked like the tree was already in the air before the initiation of the slide, but I can see if that is how the anouncer was looking at it.

Yes if the defender leads with the crown of his helmet or the runner is held up by another defender and forcible contact is made to his head or neck area.
