Nice to see the women come back after halftime. Shooting still wasn't all that great, but can be improved. Good to see them get into the bonus early in the 2nd half and make a majority of them. Hopefully this is a small step in the right direction for the program.

Bad team or not, this was a game against a better conference and it was a win. Like has been said, it definitely shows a different mindset for this team and a positive change for the program.

You are correct.
Down the stretch, this team posted up, rebounded, played DEFENSE, drove the lane, shot the layups AND set up plays. Non of which I can recall happening in games last season.
This is essentially the same team but new coaching. These ladies have some talent and this staff is starting to bring it out of them. A few of them need to play with more confidence on the floor, a little swagger, instead of the deer in the headlights.
I am looking forward to the season.
