I'm about as real as it gets when it comes to ndsu, but Texas has one of the biggest front lines in the country, if not the biggest. I don't mean just tall either. Cameron ridley had 180 from freshman->sophmore. Plus he's just a load

And their bench is just as big with Connor "x-factor" lambert &ibeh Johnathon Holmes is probably bigger than anyone in ndsu and he could be a sf/pf.

Texas did win a game in the dance last year and returns everybody with arguably the deepest frontcourt in the country (maybe Kentucky), plus Myles Turner., They have legit shot at Final Four especially with Sweet 16/Elite 8 being held in Houston.

I'm about as big of an NDSU basketball fan as it gets and I do have hopes that we can win the Summit again this year and go dancing but for this game, I will simply be happy if we can keep it within 20. Texas is just too big, we don't have the length to hang with them. We'd have to shoot lights out from downtown to have a chance but even then we'd have to find a way to stop them and I just don't think we have the horses to do that. In 2 or 3 years when we have these Freshman bigs developed a little along with the incoming bigs that are freshman to be that we have verballed we will be able to compete against these kinds of teams again but this year we just lack the size to defend them. Hoping we play well and keep it close and come out of the game healthy that's my goal for this game

Im excited to see what this team will do this year. Experienced players mixed with up and coming freshman talent. It may take till conference play for this team to gel but it will come. I like the tough non conference to start. Texas and Iowa back to back will give these guys confidence that if they can play with them to an extent, the rest of the teams will be ok, in obviously better matchups. As far as the game on Friday; last years Bison team would have had a hard time against Texas. Unfortunatly, this game won't be close. What I want to see is the young players like Miller and Jacobson and how they play on a big stage. Keeping it withing 25 will be a major success.

New coach, bunch of new players, many will be freshmen. Too many unknowns right now, but playing a team like Texas should be exciting they'll take their lumps but hopefully a learning experience for everyone. I don't think this team can pull off an upset like Woodside and team did to Wisconsin in their first year but I can hope. That team had almost a whole year playing together when they had that game.

This is game #1 with a new team... They will get much better as the season goes along. And we play in the Summit, not the BXII.

What did you think this game would be like? I easily put a hondo on Texas with the spread. We have no inside game whatsoever, and Texas is probably the only team we play where every individual matchup trumps us easily.

Our guards will be fine. Aj will be fine he's a good looking player and smooth. This is easily the worst interior we have had since going d1, and probably going back well into our d2 days.

I didn't particularly like our offense standing around and playing street ball. Just 1on1 everywhere you look. I'm not sure if that's what we were trying to do or if our lack of inside game forces the flow to play that way.
