Yeah, the short leash on the backups over several games time bothers me. I know we don't want to run up the score, but in my mind if the other team is bothered by it then just don't show up and problem solved. What good is a backup qb that has not significantly thrown the ball when he has had the chance.

Almost sure, USD changed its mind. Must be in the contract to be able to back out(they probably make a few cents per view vs NDSU fans giving them $10), USD riding NDSU for more money again. Beggars.
