Needed to start a thread early as Sun Belt powers Arkansas State and Louisiana Lafayette battle it out for first place in the conference tonight.

ASU is a 3 point favorite. It should be a great game.

The whole schedule of FBS games this week is generally un-interesting. Ole Miss-LSU is mildly interesting. There might be a couple Pac-12 and XII games that end up being good.

The whole schedule of FBS games this week is generally un-interesting. Ole Miss-LSU is mildly interesting. There might be a couple Pac-12 and XII games that end up being good.

To be honest, I most interested in the Utah vs USC game. I am really interested to see if Utah is for real and how their 2 QB system is going.

Notre Dame. 11-1 with Everett. 8-5 without. 6-1 with him this year. Last year's team had more talent than this year's Irish. A good QB can mean a lot.

Ive even heard them talk about the possibility of gameday coming to minn on kfan.

Edit....and someone ar work (who didnt know i was a former gopher season ticket holder but knew i was a bison fan) asked me if i was ready to jump on the gopher bandwagon yet.

Wow refs have screwed Penn state twice now. Called a bounce pass a completion even on replay drive ended up with TD, then allowed them an extra 2-3 secs on FG kick.

You would hope your qb would be smart enough to know the situation and I would assume the coach said throw it away if nothing is there.

That play was never called for him to throw that route unless LSU absolutely fell asleep, it wasnt happening. It was simple roll out for a few more yards or a throw away. Got greedy and bit the bullet.

i just saw that this morning. According to the coach they weren't even thinking about the end zone all they wanted were some more yards and to get off the right hash. What an idiot. If all you ever wanted out of that was to try for three you can't take a delay of game penalty, there shouldn't have been anything to think about. But worse than that, how are you only playing for a tie with the ball on the 25, 9 seconds on the clock, and a free down? Throw it in the end zone. Try to win the game.

It was a complete mess and I don't think anyone knew exactly what the plan was. I don't mind them taking a chance at the TD but they needed a better play and the Qb has to know if it isn't there, you throw it away. Just really bad all the way around by them.

The worse part about that if he completes something, even if its short, they have to have 3 seconds left to spike the ball without a timeout or a stopped clock.
