Walker completed 29-of-46 passes for 451 yards and three touchdowns to lead North Dakota State to a 29-24 victory over I-A Ball State on the road on Saturday. His 39-yard touchdown pass to Travis White with 1:25 remaining proved to be the game winner. He also had scoring strikes of 17 and 39 yards earlier in the game. Walker led the Bison on a seven-play, 92-yard drive for the winning score. The Great West Conference player of the week set single-game school records for completions and passing yards and tied the record for pass attempts. He moved to fourth all-time at North Dakota State in completions (242) and seventh in passing yards (3,240). The win over Ball State was the Bison's first ever against a I-A opponent.
