Former Bison running back Blaine Toshner passed away this week. Blaine played for the Bison from 1984 to 1988. He was a member of three National championship teams and ranks in the top 10 career punt return yards. He also ran track at NDSU. I had the good fortune of coaching Track and Field with Blaine in the spring of 89 and have been a friend ever since. He was one of the most fun loving, uplifting, caring, funny guys I have ever known. Tosh will be missed by friends, students and family!

See Joys/Concerns thread. Also, I have learned he passed from unexpected natural causes.
