ECU is really taking it to Virginia Tech. They're up 21-0 late in the 2nd quarter. Should be at least 28-0 but a LOT of questionable calls going VT's way. Also Georgia Southern is disappointing me against Georgia Tech. They're down 35-10 near halftime.

Wyo 7 Oregon 7, early 2nd qtr. Wyoming had a 96 yard scoring drive to take the early lead. That's keeping Oregon's fast pace offense off the field!

I forgot Willie Fritz is at Ga Southern. Probably explains the offensive change.

Looked like Southern was going to lock it up, but a bad pitch by the QB gives Tech the ball. They're driving with a minute left.

Give Southern credit for fighting back...

Looks like Southern can't get rid of that knack of folding at the end of the game :D Same thing happened at NC State, NDSU etc.

Maryland loses to West Virginia...Washington beating Illinois 28-3...Bowling Green beat Indiana...Miami OH playing Michigan close.

The Big 10 is an FCS conference this year. Seriously, how is that entire conference so bad?

And Minnesota is losing to TCU 17-0 1st half. Too bad Kill and company couldn't buy out that game like NC State, he could have added another OVC or Sun Belt team to keep the 6 win dream alive.

Had to be during Mase's tenure

Reading twitter the Gophers had 10 players on the field and either called a TO and then gave up a TD, or just gave up a TD.

IIRC they would never play anyone decent when Mase was there. They were always 4-0 and the best team they would have played was a mediocre MAC team.

ISU up 7 in the 4th.

UTSA is an interesting team. Played tough against Arizona last week. Now they're playing Oklahoma State and driving. They have a great home and away schedule for a team that is only a few years old.

Wow, horrible day for the B1G....but yet, the Bison are not good enough to play them.

Okay, and I tired of this and am going to be blunt: B1G, you are a joke and a shadow of your former self. And your answer to getting better, is refusing to play solid preseason competition like NDSU? Enjoy being horrible while we play for championships.

You suck. Enjoy watching two teams play in the Godaddy.com bowl and the whogivesashit bowl.

They'll still get their autobids to the Rose, Capital One, Outback January Bowls. Unfortunately for them, they're against the SEC and Pac 12. So they're gonna get crushed some more.

Time for some new captains in texas. UCLA won the toss and defered, Texas chose to kick. UCLA gets the choice to start 2nd half. So unless Mora feels real generous Texas will kick to start both halves.

lol...this reminds me of my senior year playing HS football. The coaches would always rotate seniors to go up for the coin toss, except they would always send me. I always thought it was to make sure something like that didn't happen.

New AAC members continue to represent the league well. Tulsa getting the crap kicked out of them by one of the worse FBS programs ever (FAU). 50-14. FAU was beaten 55-7 by Nebraska. And we know Nebraska isn't that great.

marenlee
09-14-2014, 02:27 AM
A lot of people keep saying UMass should go to the AAC once they're kicked out of the MAC for football. I originally thought no chance in hell since they flat out suck. But after seeing SMU, Houston, Tulane, and Tulsa perform... They'd probably fit right in.

I have had this happen 3 times while reffing, all at the same small school in MN near the border and always the same team.

Boston College up 27-17 over USC at the end of the 3rd. I thought this could be a tough game. I thought the USC win over Stanford last week was a fluke and USC is overrated.

Brock looking pretty smart. Only one today who picked Texas(in a close game). Desmond, Lee & Kirk all picked UCLA in a blowout. Currently 10-all at the end of the 3Q.

NDSU is actually better than NDSU. When the silly penalties get cleaned up, look out.

I'm thinking that NDSU would probably win the BIG this year and we all know that this years team is a shadow of last years team.
