Just watched the Georgia Sourthern coaches show on FCS, and you can definitely tell that the coach, Van Gorder, is on the hot seat and a little shook up. Sitting at 1-2, life can't be too good after the success that they have seen in the past. The show started out with the coach and the host urging fans to stay with and support the team.

The highlights of the Chatanooga game (a 27-26 loss for GS) showed a good running attach and a decent passing game for GS. The running back 28 is a stud and has a style similar to Steffes IMO. #4 is very dangerous in the open field. GS excels at the skill positions of RB. DB, WR ect. Their first play from scrimmage was a reverse that went for 35 years. Lots of speed.

This game looks like another opportunity for NDSU to control the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. But can we control their running game on the edge? Should be a great one!

Georgia Southern also got beat by Central Connecticut State (Head Coach McIherney and ass't coach Josh Hager).

We controlled it against Ball State.

Mays, Maresh, Dahl, Humber....

....I trust those guys to get it done.

An interesting note is that McIherney was a co-defensive coordinator for Georgia Southern under Tim Stowers.
