The Gridiron Power Index (GPI), the ranking for I-AA and top indicator of at-large playoff selection debuts for the 2006 season with New Hampshire and Montana knotted at the top spot. The Great West Football Conference is the top ranked conference. I-AA's largest league, the Atlantic 10 Conference has seven of their teams in the top 25; the Gateway Football Conference placed five; the Great West Football Conference placed three; the Ivy League, the Big Sky and the Southern Conferences placed two each; the Pioneer Football League, the Mid-Eastern and Ohio Valley Conferences placed one each. There is one Independent ranked in the top 25. (Games through 10/1/06) ...

N. Colorado is at 81. If they had still been in the GWFC, our average would have been at 31.00 and the Big Sky would have moved up & the GWFC would be in 4th...

Yeah but if they counted loses to D-IIIs then SDSU would have draged us down, God only knows how far? :o

You've got to love this, new kid on the D-1AA power block NDSU vs down on its luck perrenial power GSU... in their house.... This is what its all about!!!
