Also impressive: So far this week, there hasn't been a single post on Bisonville about how the students suck and how they don't deserve their seats.

This game is coming at a very good time for us. With all the game day discussion going on we are forgetting that we have a team that has some major things to work on. We shot ourselves in the foot multiple times on Saturday with the penalties. Holding, false starts and personal foul are things this coaching staff needs to clean up. They killed some drives on Saturday and against tougher competition could come back to haunt us.

Polasek has been doing a ok job at calling plays. Some that make you go WTF but not as many as I expected. I remember a previous coach stating how they would run more to the outside during the first few quarters to make the defense chase the play and help wear them down. We seem to not be doing that as much the first two games. We are still wearing the teams down though but it took a little longer with Weber (they were actually a better than I expected). I don't expect them to show to much this week, it will be interesting what we see against Montana though.

It's a good week for players to work on limiting the mistakes.

Cripes, what is wrong with students nowadays?" :) My stepdaughter messed up (probably teaching or working on her doctorate) and found herself 600 plus on the waiting list for student tickets to this game. Wish the students kept demand up like this for all the games. Just another 1000 that can't attend football games due to the small confines of the Fargodome. NDSU could easily sell 25,000 to 30,000 for every game right now. And for the bigger games 35,000 plus. And the solution is............wait and hope Bison success goes away so demand goes down. Really?

There never is the first week. The standard order of complaining about students in any generic year is:

Game 1: Students gobble up all tickets and have to stand in line for 3 hours. Letters pour in to the Spectrum that the student allotment must be increased because they're the lifeblood of the University.

Game 2: Students claim all tickets. Many students keep complaining that their allotment must be increased. However, after 1/3 of the students leave at halftime of game 2, the rubes start complaining about all the ugly blue seats on tv and whine that they couldn't even get in the door even though they'd gladly pay $XYZ.00/ seat, etc. Now the fingerpointing has begun.

Game 3-6: Students claim all tickets, but not until Thursday or Friday. Rubes start whining on Tuesday about how much the students suck and don't deserve their seats and this continues for each home game.

That is a very telling stat and as that improves it will be because we took care of the other problems and are getting into 3 and short to 3 or 4 yards.
