""A guy who's on the fringe learns to jump in pretty quick with guys like Brian. That's typical of North Dakota kids and Minnesota kids," Polasek said. "A dairy farmer to me is a little special. They work their tails off for not very much, a bunch of hours, and it's dirty work."

Epitome of hard working midwest tough guys. UN_ gives us shit about "the ag school" but farm boys make bad ass football players. They are just jealous. They can keep their manicured pansies with crazy speed. Guys like Schaetz body slam them like King Kong Bundy from the top rope

Someone has to sport the King Kong Bundy wrestling uni at the first home game. I would but I'm about 200 bills to light. Who are some candidates that post on this board? ;)

Edit thread title. Schaetz does not seem like the type to keep a diary.

Anybody else think we should try and start a chant at games whenever Schaetz gets a big stop or sack? The guy will be around for the next 2 years, and every time he makes a play, this song runs through my head. The part I'm talking specifically would be at the 1:17 mark in the video. Students could start it with the "Schaetz Schaetz Schaetz etc" part and then the whole place yells "EVERYBODY!!!"

I like that it was picked up by the NCAA and put on their homepage.

We don't get those new traditions unless we join the MAC...then we can be cool like Western Michigan.

With Carlton Littlejohn at linebacker, this needs to find a way to happen.

Someone please post the GIF of Schaetz "dump trucking" the Iowa State running back right next to the GIF of him steamrolling Zenner from last week.

You also need to be quick in the dairy barn when one of the cows raises its tail.

I worked on a dairy farm in high school and there is no such thing as a sick day. Sick, hung over, or whatever your ailment is, the cows have to be milked.

My buddy in high school/college lived/worked on his family's dairy farm. They milked at 4:30 am and at 4:30 pm. There were many nights (mornings actually) we would roll in and he would say, "shit, might as well put on my coveralls and start getting the barn ready." I occasionally worked on my uncles dairy farm in the summer when I was in high school. I loved working on the farm, hated milking though. Milking is a tough way to make a living. Precisely why there are very few dairy farms left on the country side.

Every high school kid should work on a dairy farm for one summer. Good learning experience.
