Good show. Like prior years it is on the web except it's broken up into 4 different videos. Off note I like how Coach Klieman renamed it.

Wow! I guess I never realized just how big a blue whale is... no wonder Rod Jonas was swallowed whole!

I noticed that. He was very straight faced.

I kind of alluded to this before, but I am very impressed on how he is copying the things that Coach Bohl did well. Another one I am noting is how sharp he is dressing and setting that professional image. He looked like a mafia don he was so well dressed and also noted that in the pregame interview with Izzo.

With the exception of those god-awful polos during the game that Nike pushed. Those shirts look great when white is the primary and the dark school color are the stripes. I bet the Bison shirts even look good close up when you can clearly see the yellow striping. But from a distance the yellow stripes blend together with the green to make ugly wide yellow/green stripes.

No doubt. Those polos are hideous.

They looked terrible on tv also. Not going to be one of those polo's in my closet. So they were pushed by Nike?

I'm assuming. I've been seeing them on coaches all weekend. Both Baylor(white/green stripes) and SMU(red/black stripes) coaches are wearing them right now on FS1. Iowa State coaches were also wearing them yesterday(white/red stripes). Ours were the only ones that looked like warm vomit.

(too much?)

Thanks Gabe. Please keep posting these throughout the season for us out of towners.

If you look at the credits during the show it says "Coach Kliemans wardrobe provided by Straus."
I don't think he's copying Bohl at all. Some general ideas maybe but Klieman seems more interested and involved in the coaching, gameplanning, and helping his coaches come together than media. Bohl was a media whore and pretty darn good at it. It's gotta be a hell of an adjustment going from DC to having your own TV show, radio show, and weekly press conferences. He's handled it incredibly well. Still A New Coach. But I agree he's a good public speaker and a professional

Yep, he has dressed absolutely terribly for his Monday press conference, pre-game interview with Izzo, and his TV show.......nothing at all like the previous coach, I guess.

I don't know how ck could have done any better. Maybe a little more on the thought process through the game but I don't know how you can do that.

He really comes across as honest and down to earth.

The hideous polos, I have a feeling are a case of "the emperors new clothes." That has been consistently the one comment that I have heard fans talk about, how bad they look. Horizontal stripes don't look good on anyone, this is case and point. I was at Scheels last week and they were pushing them as well. I have a feeling they will be sitting on a pile of them. Whoever made that call, deserves a flag on the play.

ISU coaching staff appeared to have exact same style just different, more subtle, color combinations. But yes, NDSUs with yellow and green are just too much.

Related wardrobe question... Think the Coach Rhoads/Headset block carrying kid combo custume will be available this year for Halloween? I could see it being very popular in the Fargo area.

Those colors are the same colors as Laffy Taffy. Saw them at Scheels. Not good.

ONLY YOU would be able to think of that!!!
(Ya, the shirts are awful... almost as bad as old guys wearing buckle jeans with flap pockets.)

I saw a bunch of different teams' coaching staff wear that team's version of the polo.

I guess I am in the minority that actually thinks the polo is pretty cool and wants to buy one at some point...

The bookstore had them at the pep rally. I can't remember the exact number but they were like $80...not kidding.

We'll see if this changes throughout the year but Klieman was there throughout the whole show rather than rolling out after analysis like Bohl. Even though Jorgensen didn't really ask him much detail about things, it was still good to see him there.

Also, props on renaming the show.

Revisionist history. Only show Bohl was not on until the end was the one after Frisco. If it ever happened outside of that, it was very rare.

After listening to The Bubba Show last night, We as Bison fans are so lucky to CK as the coach.Bubba just babbles on about moral victories and one day at a time.Klieman not only walks the walk but he can talk the talk.He seems very comfortable during interviews. That tells me he knows what he talking about, unlike the leader of the "Flagship University".

Worked late last night came home and wife was waiting up for me said I've been so busy she has hardly got to talk to me lately. I said that's nice honey but can it wait until tomorrow I haven't watched the bison football show yet and then turned on TV. Women!

Cripes, did she at least have the common courtesy to get you a drink so you could wind down?

I would have asked for more than a drink.
