Yesterday at about 4:30 pm, I went to the BSA and asked them how many tickets were remaining in NDSU's 5,000 allotment for the Gopher game. Surprisingly, the woman said there were around 25 left. She told me that if I don't order them by sometime tomorrow (today now), that I'd be out of luck. This was about 30 hours ago. This morning, I was luckily able to secure three tickets from the BSA. I bet they were three of only 20 or so left. The Bison ticket office most likely is completely sold out of their 5,000. I know there are probably thousands of bison fans ordering from the Gopher ticket office. I think there will definitely be over 10,000 of us at the game. i just wish we could all sit together, instead of half of us being peppered within a sea of maroon.

Same here, I am with a group of 9 others from Jamestown and Bismarck who bought from the Bison Ticket office. I think we will be in a sea of 6 to 7 thousand Bison fans in the corner, upper deck, another 7 or 8 thousand will be scattered about. Too bad.

My sister-in-law ordered ours. We have a group of 8 going. I would have prefered better seats I probably could have gotten through some Iowa fans around where I live or through the Gopher ticket office but, we wanted to sit with the large group of Bison fans.

My sister and family are also going but got the family pack through the Goph's ticket office. Her husband is a big Gopher fan (their twin, 2-year olds know the Rouser already - listen to the UM bands CD in the car all the time) and was hoping they'd sit with us but they didn't want to since it would be in a sea of green. Can't blame the guy. I guess that's probably what a Bison fan would feel like in a sea of maroon. :P

There will be Bison fans everywhere in the dome. We have two busloads going from Cannon Falls. Most of our adult friends bought from NDSU so we will be together. Our football coach is bringing a busload of players, but they bought from the U because of cost to the kids. many others from our town already have tickets, etc, but will definately be cheering for the Bison. I'd guess we have a minimum of 100 people coming from Cannon. Tailgating will include Bison chili at our house (no decent tailgating at the Dome) before the game, bus leaves our house at 1:00 and heads to the game, and Bison burgers at our house after the game. anybody wanting to stay in south metro area Sat nite are welcome to come. We have a barn for overflow overnight guests!!!!!! Can't wait

So does anyone know what section most of the Bison fans will be in. When I buy a ticket down there I'd like to be close if not in it.

NDSU allotment is 236-239 sections

Most that bought via gopher ticket office are in 137-139 sections.

Im in 139 row 8.... lots of tickets on ebay, (look for Iowa @ Minnesota tickets, and ask THAT seller if he has the Ndsu tickets as well..... they wil give them away cheap!!)

That whole corner should be rocking, you can tailgate north of the dome and walk right into Gate G & H into your seats!!

I bought from NDSU too, BISON like to herd together you know! Havent received my tickets yet, but its starting to look like the NDSU faithfull that guarantees the FFD at least 10,000 per game are all going to the Metrodome!

But I called Gopher ticket office and you can still buy tickets. Best chances are 1 or two but limited availability of three or more together. I think Iowa fans who live in or near the Twin Cities will be scalping tickets day of Bison game just to get rid of them

The NDSU ticket office is indeed sold out-I called and they had just sold out yesterday

I got six tickets in section 235 all together about 12 hours ago. There are some scattered threes together and a lot of singles (including the lower deck). I decided to go with 235 because I wanted to be in the sea of green.

The good news is that I was not going to get home in time for the game, but my replacement doc is going to get here a week earlier than though so I am going to get home about two days prior to the game. Hope the army does not screw this up and I end up missing it. Fingers are crossed.

Anyway, I would normally say that I would have a beer with you all, but after this long, one beer will be all that it takes!!

I ordered my tixs from the UofM, got the $60 package (icnludes 4 tixs, pop and dog for each ticket). The seats are in section 101 row 8. I should be able to see any scoring that takes place at that end of the field quite nicely!

Who you going with...my group will be sitting pretty close to you. We are in section 108 in rows 2 and 3. There will be 16 of us unfortantely 2 of them are siuox fans and one is a gopher fan. But we will still out number them 13 to 3;)

I would LOVE to sit with the rest of the fans, the problem is my 2nd row seats were $13 and the NDSU tickets would have cost me about $75 a piece ($25 for the ticket and $50 for a pair of binocculars). ;D

I would just like to take a quick informal poll before I buy my tix for the Gopher game.

Where would you rather sit Upper Level 15-20 yard line or Lower Level 8th row corner?

The lower level tix are only a few $ more but they are in the corner. I haven't been to the Metrodome for football since I was 8, so I don't know how bad sitting in the Upper Level would suck.

Go to this website and click on the sections you are thinking about and it will give you a photo of the field from that section.

Very nice, thanks. I just have to decide if I want to see the whole game over 100 yards or sacrifice the 30 yards on the other end of the filed in order to be only 8 rows up on one end.

How many of you guys have tix in the 137-139 sections?

He (Sid) also mentions it in his column....on the second page.

In addition he says if the Twins make it to the World Series, the NDSU/UM game will be on Friday.

I will be in section 101 rows 2 & 3 with 8 in each row. And then a buddie of mine from college got a suite though his work and I am sure I will be joining him up there for some free beer.

Watching the Minnesota game today against Penn State and there are a lot of empty seats. I'd say a majority of the upper deck looks empty.

I got my tix last week. Section 226, row 22. Hopefully my father, brother and I will be able to move down to better seats, aka do the "Expansion Seat Boogie", as it was known in Edmonton back in the early-90's when the Oilers were drawing sparse crowds.
