Brian is seen as being one of the guys who is going to be starting on the D line?

Ay least he can still bench press! Best wishes for your recovery, Brian.

I still sense a position change may happen. Jesse Hinz would be a good candidate...but he's already hired out as a bulldozer

I agree, but it won't be Hinz.

Any chance Brandon Hines or Blake Williams will be ready to contribute as a true FR?

Woa woa woa slow down. These can be very nasty and they can also be a minor inconvenience. Let it play out before we have the freshman class lined up for ISU.

A question no one has asked? " How did he break his foot?"

El_Chapo

He did post this on facebook. Maybe he broke it jumping off this 140 foot construction crane at unbisons worksite??

What causes clots in such a young man?

Genetics? I would also guess a blood vessel was injured which in turn starts the process of coagulation.

.....:(.....

What causes clots in such a young man?

I would assume its a complication from his broken foot. Probably from immobility. Nothing to do with age.

Finally some good news on the DT front. According to Dom, Schaetz should be practicing again "by the middle of the month".

With all the Dl drama....Think we would go Juco or is it too late?

With all the Dl drama....Think we would go Juco or is it too late?

To my knowledge we could sign one but given the fact they would have missed spring and most of training camp, they wouldn't contribute anything probably until next year. Late this year if we're lucky. And the young guys would have gotten enough reps to start making an impact by the time a juco is ready. So essentially it would slow the development of the young guys. Should have gotten one in February. Chalk it up as a miscalculation by the coaches. We talked about it back in January. If the young guys pan out it won't matter. I would rather see us use a scholly on a DT like Hubbs instead. No need to waste one when we will be loaded next year

Probably should have taken Hinjosa (sp) from the Gophers instead of letting him go to the school with no name? Just asking since NDSU was his first choice .

We have Schatz, Tanguay, Farnlof, Morgan and Hardie can play some plus Williams the FR

the DL is just so darn important for a T2 D to be effective. I just hope we stay fresh enough the entire season to maintain integrity of the T2 concept.

We'll be ok. If anything the Dline should improve as the season progresses. I just hope Schaetz is good health-wise, blood clots can be scary

Guys like Bryce Messner could really contribute too. 6-3, 280 now. Similar background to Ryan Drevlow. Athletic, played basketball, awesome track guy for shot put and discus. Baseball. Played 9 Manx depends on learning curve
