Noticed this morning that Massey has his 2014 Ratings out (through preseason)...

Thought it was interesting that NDSU is rated #28 for all of Division 1 (FCS and FBS combined), with the 17th best defense.

Hey, I thought Iowa St. was FBS and we are FCS. I thought they were in the Big 12 and we are in the MVFC. If that is the case, how can we be 28 and they are 57?*

So, in all of Div 1, NDSU is #28???... right behind...Texas. So, about $100 million more dollars in the football budget just squeaked them ahead of NDSU...

amazing how low one man can bring such a prestigious program. Strong will right the ship. For now, enjoy being this close to Texas.

Considering #69 is St. Francis (PA), if I was them I'd be STFU regarding NDSU's OOC schedule.

Sadly, I think the media should run a story on just how bad UND is and why they have no leverage on NDSU. Show this stuff, they show the financial math. any level headed person gets this.

I won't be a bit surprised if this is the year that Misery State turns things around. (Of course... there's been many such years, and they never have, so I dunno...)

FCS - NDSU at 28 then E Illinois at 66. Pretty big gap between the 2.

I find it interesting that of the FCS teams the Powerful Big Sky only has two in the top twenty. Three if you count Sam Houston.

Well they did finish second in the conference last year so there is that.

Tops in Expected Wins among ALL NCAA1 at 11.04. Above #2 Florida St, then Alabama, etc. Just wow!

Remember the days when UN_ fans loved to bring up Massey every chance they could? Wonder what happened?



note: Personally I don't care for Massey because it focuses too much on W/L and mostly ignores margin of victory. Still, always nice to see the Bison on top.
