Some thoughts on the bracket....I like Florida and AZ to get to the final four, both teams got favorable paths. Syracuse struggled to finish the season but I think they have a nice road to the sweet 16, that zone will stymie OSU who I think will get past Dayton. The Cuse could also give Kansas some issues. I like the trendy pick of Michigan State to the final four but watch out for ISU.

The Midwest region is just so unpredictable, I feel sorry for WSU, they are staring down the gauntlet. I like Louisville or Duke out of the Midwest but a number of teams coming out of that bracket wouldn't surprise me.

I'll take the Gators to win it all.

If I was OSU yes, their half court D was much better. I like my chances with 25 seconds on the clock if I foul. Especially with how they were limiting 2nd chance attempts. On top of that, they were only in the bonus not double bonus. Just a coaching style, that's why I'm sitting at home watching and they are out there coaching.

Not an intentional foul, Flagrant Foul 1, just semantics. Basically a non basketball play, and needs to be enforced, otherwise we end up with rough play at no contest portions of the game. Especially when they are fouling to stay in the game.

Missingnumber7 explained it well. It's essentially an attempt to enforce player safety. You must make a basketball play by going for the ball. You're not allowed to cheap shot the offensive player to stop him from scoring. You can foul on a fast break and avoid a flagrant foul if you get close enough to make a play on the ball. Otherwise, you better let the player go or they'll get 2 shots and the ball back.

That's the different between the mid to low majors with their senior laden teams that know how to handle the last few minutes of a game vs these high major teams with their one and dones. Look at these schools and coaches that are losing in early rounds that used to never lose early. How many of them used to never have kids leave early or at least never leave after 1 year. It makes a big difference. They talked about it with NDSU and some team today. The starting 5 had started 100 games together. That's huge.

Why? I don't get that, the bottom 1 seed should have the toughest road to the April. I have very few problems with the teams put in that bracket. The freshman are starting to come together and play as a team finally. Seeding isn't based on how they expect you to play. It's based on your accomplishments of the season.

It's primary, but it's not the only. The only way I can see being critical of what they did is if they did purposefully line up better teams in lower seeds to make it impossible for Wichita State to win their region. I don't think either of us is interested in being married to the NCAA. The other thing that goes on in that context is collectively you've got more than one thing that you want to get done so even if you think your partner's way of doing a particular task isn't optimal, on net, you both win by letting them do it their way while you do a different thing at the same time.

The selection committee, on the other hand, only has one thing to do.
