Bison have beat 6 teams that are either ranked or receiving votes in this poll.

Also ahead of our favorite Morman friends at BYU.

Thank you, thank you everyone. I want to thank my family, my agent and the academy...... I'd also like a shout out to the whoiux for the wakeup call last fall. It reminded this team that they need to show up for every game, even if it is just a scrimmage.............

SFA is receiving votes in the AP and Coaches poll. What games if NDSU would have won would put them in the others receiving votes category? Easy answer would be Ohio State + one other team, but realistically I think if NDSU had beat Southern Miss, that is a good win, they are also an ORV. Losing to UND was a bad loss. I think there is a bit of forgiveness in losing conference games Denver & Fort Wayne.

If we had beaten So Miss our RPI would be close to 30.

Yeah that one still stings. We would be in the at-large discussion with a win there.

still trying to explain to some un_ fans the difference between a 12/13 and a play-in 16 seed. This is the best I could do...

Ok, lets pretend this is division I hockey. Now, every team that plays said division I hockey gets in the tournament, PLUS take the eight best Thursday night beer league teams from the hockey playing reality void. Ok, thats 67 teams in NOW, take the best team from the big fluffy and that's where they would rank in the tournament as a play in 16 seed.

They perked up when I said teh hockies but the math overwhelmed them.

You can't get anywhere with them....they think the Big Sky and MVC are the same since they are both one bid leagues this year. Anything beyond that just confuses them. I tried to talk to them about RPI and they thought I was talking about some college hockey team that they played in the big hockey tournament.

Would have been nice to have won that Southern Miss game. So close, just one more play. Ugg...

That UN_ loss was a disaster but the refs played a huge part in it! Oh well let's just win this thing and go dancing!!!

We had the ball at the end and ended up turning it over with about 3 seconds left if I remember right. Didn't even get a shot off.

They missed a free throw Tray rebounded it and we called TO. Alexander threw the ball to right side at midcourt to Trayvonn and he grabbed and turned to shoot and the ball was knocked out of his hands and the southern Miss player dribbled away with it.

Oh so close that came
