I will be there as well. I've gone the last 3 years and I've enjoyed it. Pretty decent food. Cash bar. GT always has something to say, Coach gives a speech, lead recruiter gives a presentation on the new class with video on each recruit, and it's always interesting to see the coaches in a relaxed atmosphere. Plus the T&F, women's soccer, and I think one more sport introduces their classes as well. They should have the Natty trophies on hand as well if you want to take pictures of/with them. I'm hoping they take some time to introduce the new coaching staff and give updates on the SHAC.

Just a note on Stanley Jones. I talked to his BB coach last weekend and Coach Miller couldn't say enough good things about Stanley. He said the best thing about Stanley is that he has a motor that doesn't stop. Coach Miller also mentioned S.J. can't wait to get to NDSU, very excited.

Wow Easton had 15 DI offers.

Goeser is also raving about the walk-on class...said it is without a doubt their best ever. Said Caleb Butler decided to walk-on here instead of taking a wrestling scholarship at MN.

Also said King Frazier was the #1 recruit on their board when he came out of high school. King Frazier and Stanley Jones will be on in the next half hour.

I've looked around at other boards to see what sort of activity goes on, and Bisonville & Bisonation.info are above and beyond anything I see out there. Correct, it is true however that he was the only one offered by SDSU this year... the article goes on to say "In other words, the 6-foot-1, 195-pound Marlette is the only high school senior player in this state – from any of the seven divisions – considered a consensus scholarship-caliber FCS recruit. It’s not like SDSU or USD got beat out by better – or worse – peer programs for a handful of locals." I think that people may have misread the article thinking he was the ONLY D1 scholarship recruit of the state, when in fact he was the only one offered by both USD and SDSU.

If you have not read it (I see others have commented), the Argus stuff on Sioux Dakota this year is outstanding work; they always do a great job on LOI day. There is not doubt things must have been down in SD this year as they made it clear that Marlette was the only top notch recruit. If you don't believe that, SDSU did not take a single scholie player from SD and they are the superior program down here so I put little stock in the USD scholies.

The video staffs these programs are coming up with for promotion purposes is quite impressive and is bringing a whole other element to the recruiting game.

I disagree 100%. Some programs just get more out of recruits than others. That doesn't necessarily mean that one schools recruits are better than the others in high school.
