I think my last point is probably the important one here (of course :D) we are right where we need to be in terms of resources for the best competitive situation. Banging our head against some artificial ceiling won't do us a bit of good. You will never compete with the 9 figure budgets of Ohio State or Texas so why go up to their division? It's stupid. Nobody is going to care one bit more about NDSU if they are in FBS.

Of course, if the bunch of 30k millionaires who are advocating this move actually start donating, we might have a chance.

you can filter out the word "lakes" on this board if it makes you happy that he wouldnt be getting any name recognition. In fact you should make it so it asks "do you really want to read this?", a half dozen or so times so people who know what theyre getting into, don't become upset for no reason whatsoever.
