To do it at this late of a date you are experimenting with some risky stuff to try to switch now. Flash seats are simple, I promise

Received a hospitality email from NCAA but no tickets!! Would think they could easily transfer back to flash seats. Going from flash to paper tickets might be risky.

If I remember correctly, you can change them from paper to flash seats, but not the other direction. Once they are flash seats, you have to wait until you get to the stadium and get them at the special ticket window.

I might be a good thing that people bought there tickets early this year. I heard that the teams allotment MIGHT have been reduced this year. Which is direct conflict with what the NCAA told me in Aug. But then again they did put additional seats up for sale after they said it was sold out. Dont know who to believe.

Last year there were 2 teams with fans looking for tickets. Towson and EWU probably won't go over their allotments so they won't be buyers. I expect a lot of Bison fans have extra tickets so there will be a lot more tickets on the market than available. If anyone pays more than face they are looking for a very specific seat or they are getting taken.

Given the other squads trying still in contention, people shouldn't be discouraged from going through the fear of not getting a ticket (despite Indy's attempts to calm fears). Which Bison fans? The die hard Bison fans? Not worried about them, they already have tickets. The high stakes teammakers? Nope, they will eat up the allotment, they are covered. So basically we are down to a very specific Bison fan who might buy my tickets. They are the ones who didn't take a risk 5 months ago or now just realized we are one game from reality and want tickets from those who were willing to take the risk to cover them. I know when I bought my tickets, there were still plenty available so those who were wanting to wait it out could have gotten in then.

I won't feel guilty. When I got out of the service and moved back to this area to finish up my undergraduate and graduate work at NDSU which only gained them around $70K, I became a team maker while I was still a student 7 years ago. I have been progressing through the process and am looking at the Bison club and higher for my next step, so just about any money I would possibly make in the short term would go back to the athletic program in the long run. Sure one could talk about tax advantages but in reality, it isn't that advantageous for a middle class family to be giving to charities. I would be way better off looking at ways to funnel money into credits, not charitable donations. My wife lets me take this hobby where I want to because I don't have many others. Now when it comes to this, and yes it might seem a bit odd, but it makes my wife even happier if I can show I am offsetting the cost of the trip by selling my extra tickets. She is looking at the right now. So later, when I explain to her the desire to move even further up the club levels to give to teammakers, she thinks it is more of a circular system I can take care of. She is now happier, even though we are taking the expensive family vacation every other year instead of every year and because not only is she going to let me give more money to teammakers, she sees the trip to Frisco as having a negligible effect on the pocket book.

Who pays this price? Four desperate fans who didn't think far enough ahead who are now panicking to be part of the party. Who gets the full advantage of this? The NDSU athletic department.

By the way, there is no one on this board who can ever say I sold them a ticket for more than face value, ever. If I see the opportunity to make some cash on these tickets, I only said I would bring it to this board first and sell for market value. It will only be for a short time because I will utilize the most advantageous outlet to make it happen. So I really don't have a problem if you undercut me with face value. We just have different ideas of how to turn the risk we took into reward. If you feel rewarded by hooking someone up who let you cover their risk, more power to you.

Now come Friday, I will be in the same spot I have been for all but 5 homes games over the past 7 years so for the few of you that have bought from me in the past, don't come taking advantage of my gleefulness after we win and start asking me for tickets.
