Coastal will get rolled so badly in this game it won't be funny. Montana will be game planning for next weeks game at halftime.

Yeah we got our ass kicked today on both sides of the ball. They were a better team and they were definitely a more physical team. It wasnt the refs, it wasnt us playing poorly we just got beat. The only upside to losing this game is that we dont get embarrassed by you guys next weekend in Fargo. You guys will definitely have no trouble crushing Coastal Carolina.

Good luck and I will think about making the trip over next weekend.

I thought this too, but have not seen CC play. I did see Montana v UND and thought they looked soft, but still thought they would roll CC.

I didnt think we would roll them but I did think we could win, they were definitely a more physical team and they beat us in our house with the noise and cold weather. They earned it but I would really be shocked if they give you guys any trouble next weekend. They are better than us but we are not that good.

coastal runs spread with some read option and no huddle. we dont see a lot of that. furman got some nice yardage on the RO today

Yes and they were VERy efficient running it against our defense, very few dropped balls, very few negative plays and they lined up at times and played fast. Their RB Taliaferro is pretty solid and he put it on us. Ross was damn accurate in the cold today too, he lit it up when he threw the ball.

Well, it was over at halftime, but the other direction. Wow! I am shocked. Montana and NDSU may have made ESPN Saturday AM.

Hmmm??! Could be interesting. From what I have seen over the last several years, the deeper u get in playoffs the more athleticism and raw ability you see. If Furman had out off-field training, and the players were dedicated to it, they would be very tough, and likely will be in the future. I was pretty impressed.
