That's what I was thinking. They were getting good pressure, we should have did 2 runs and tried to pick up the first down. So far I'm impressed with this team. They are posed on offense and their d is getting good pressure. As soon as Vigen figures out that running the ball is the key we should start grinding them down.

The whole team is a tad sketchy right now...sort of understandable coming off the bye week. I think Furman is a heck of a lot better than anyone anticipated. Adjustments will be made, by both teams, and the talent and coaching coming the Bison will be tested. This is a special group on the field who has faded their fair share of adversity over their careers so I predict a grind it out conservative ball game. The offense will do as the offense does quite often and will take advantage of formations and personnel groupings to put them in a position to be successful and expose Furman's D...on the other side the defense has either been a brick wall or Swiss cheese, the big question will be their ability to tighten it up in the secondary and how well they can consistently get pressure on the passer

Radio announcers also called the Furman team the "Purple Paladins." Not correct. Also one of your media bloggers mistakenly called Furman a Baptist School. Furman broke away from the S.C. Baptist Convention about 20 years ago, so he was a couple decades behind in his description.
Anyway, time is now running out and I want to congratulate you guys. Your team showed us a clinic in defensive play. Wish we could steal away your defensive coach.
