If they can move the needles in Seattle, so can we, Bison fans! Just kidding, of course.

That's pretty bad ass!
I think now that the playoffs are finally here, were going to see a resurgence of extreme noise. Haven't had many dramatic moments since the UNI game. We've been loud this year but only for a quarter or half. Then the games over!

Has anyone heard how ticket sales are going? If the students don't take their allotment, do they go on sale to the general public?

They have already been selling tickets to the general public for the student sections.

Why they don't do it that way every week is beyond my comprehension...

I was posted in another thread that there's only 140 student tickets left as of 7:30AM this morning. However, like road said that's only sections 13-16 (sideline). They sold the normal end zone student sections (10-12) as GA and those were sold out a while ago.

16 in front of the suite is reserved for guest tickets, right?

Yep, those plus a few more in the northwest corner I believe (not the whole section). I think it's mandated to make 500 tickets available for the opponent.

If you look on their forum they are trying to get 150 people together for a charter flight and it doesn't sound like it will fill. I am thinking their tickets will be up for grab too.

Hell, the SDSU cheerleaders move the seismograph needle dozens of times a game. Not sure what the big deal is all about. :D

Everyone will have to clap, yell, stomp their feet and have their cell phones ringing. There should be a code yellow dialing system and everyone's cell phone rings on 3rd down. Syncronized phoning.

I believe the latest version of bison tracker makes noise in strobe mode. Havent tried it yet though.

Question I wonder is if the bitterly cold weather outside will affect pre-game festivities, thus lowering the noise?

Well if you get paperwork done quickly, theres your new government research worth about one million. Minus my fee for suggesting it, and the beer you still owe Tranny.

I think people will get in the dome earlier, which may indeed equate to a less sustained noise presence. However, pre-game and the first couple quarters should be up to playoff caliber noise levels. If it's not a blowout I think the noise will be there when it needs to be. More fans than attendees.

I saw that. Funny. Perfect for the puritans who sit by me that rarely clap much less cheer. Problem is puritans don't have cell phones. Would be useless during a game because clapping is louder than a phone and you can't really do both. They need to make it play while reading a kindle

The spirits should be flowing freely in the pregame festivities!

The playoff atmosphere the last couple years have been phenomenal. I expect no let-down in the excitement.

I have been to both the Fargo Dome and Century Link field. The Fargo Dome is loud but more intimate at the Dome you feel more like part of the group. Century Link Field is so loud it does hurt the ears. Both places are great for football.

I went to Century Link Field last year for the Vikings game. My impression of the noise, when compared to the Dome rocking on the Jensen Georgia Southern TD:

If we play MT next week the media folks should promote/organize a world record attempt.
