Still surprised that Littlejohn and Dudzik didn't even get mentioned.

We could be disappointed that the whole defense isn't on a list...but CJ Smith? Isn't that the big surprise?

very surprised Dudzik didnt even get Honorable Mention. Played great at safety and was a heck of a returner when he was in there.
Alot of it is name recognition I imagine, and those that have been on before have the advantage.

Crockett deserved it also, but the split RB situation hurt both of them for individual honors

The players that I believe are all conference players that were omitted were. The biggest omission to me is the SR Jirik, he has meant a hell of a lot to this program. He was all conf type of the player the last two years and was passed over for upper classmen. Everyone said then, his time will come. His contribution is not missed on me. Omission is due more to injury than anything else, I guess.

Littlejohn JR
Jirik SR
Dudzik JR
Smith SO
Crockett JR
Beck JR

Very surprised not to see Jirik and Dudzik. Less surprised not to see CLJ and Beck even though they deserved it. Glad that the sophomores CJ and ZJ got well earned recognition. 8 First team and 18 Total. At least most will have their chance next year. Crockett too. Considering how bad we've got hosed the past couple years this is at least an ok job.

Jiriks sack numbers are way down but he's been playing with an injury so it's not his fault. Last game vs USD he looked great. Hopefully he's getting healthier.

I agree 100% - I'm surprised that we got as many as we did as jealousy runs wild this time of the year. How do you not recognize those you mentioned.

WHAT??? No, JC23 or Dudzik.... Let alone a few others who have should of at least been mentioned. Congrats to those who made the list the Bison as a whole, what a ride it's been.

Step away from the ledge guys, holy sh*t. Not EVERY player of ours is all-world. Some of these other teams have some good players, too.

Exactly. Having 15 of 54 first and second team spots go to one team in a 10 team conference is a pretty dominant. A lot of these awards go on numbers and it's tough for some of these guys to rack up the numbers, on the defense especially, with the amount of talent on that side of the ball.

Great post. I really doubt most of the players give a rip since we are MVFC Champs for three consecutive years.

Love when our studs dont get the awards they deserve. Gives them extra motivation for playoffs and next season

Im not sure how they pick the teams...but when I was coaching high school sports...we picked the players per team...by how many conference wins they had. Each win was worth some percentage of a player. I can't remember the exact numbers but say each win was worth .40. So if you have 5 wins...you got 2 all conference. I doubt they do it that way, but Im sure they have some formula.

Congrats to all that made it. Especially Zach Vraa. Your fan club is very happy for you and the rest of your teammates who were selected!!!

Congrats to all the guys on their accolades, particularly Grant Olson. Great to see the committee recognized him in light of the injury and the inglorious end to his career.

True story, I once had a team on NCAA FB (10, I think? Maybe 11) where in one season the entire All-conference 1st team was my players. It was crazy.

In my opinion all Bison players are all conference.

This list is dumb. Better put a ring on it and prove they left out A LOT of deserving Bison players!!
