I don't know who to cheer for. I almost went to college at NAU and always kind of cheer for them but I think the Big Sky is overrated and I cheer against the conference. SDSU is our rival and I hate them. I never want them to get more fuel to act like they are on NDSU's level. On the other hand, I think the MVFC got screwed over by the selection committee so I want to prove them wrong.

This reminds me a little bit of the NDSU / Montana State game a few years ago. Northern Arizona just looks physically beat down. Big Sky is who we thought they were. Sure glad that the MVFC only has 2 playoff teams the Big Sky has 4. That makes sense.

I was thinking the same thing. This is why the Jacks need to keep it close in the first half next week at EWU. The way they are getting to NAU's QBs tonight has been impressive. Getting to Vernon Adams will be a lot tougher, but when they do, they need to knock him on his ass hard. Beat VA physically and mentally, EWU will fold.

We all remember the monumental collapse at Montana the first time SDSU appeared in the playoffs. I think the rank and file SDSU fans won't be smiling until the clock shows zero. Mostly, but the part about comparing the Jacks 2nd round opponent last year (Bison) to this year (EWU) seemed a bit off. If I'm a Jacks fan (which I am when not playing us.....yes, I don't believe it's a real rivalry!), I'd be feeling pretty good about heading to Cheyney, rather than Fargo on the first Saturday in December.

IF SDSU can keep it close in the first half next week, I bet they win that game. If SDSU gives up TD's on the first two drives though it is going to be a very long day for SDSU. After today's results though, I don't even know if we will see the Griz in the dome the following week.

Zenner is averaging 272 yards (68 zenners) per game against the Big Sky this season, and more than 8.12 yards per carry (136 zenners on 67 carries).

Also, out of curiosity, I looked up his average vs the MVFC, and if I looked at it correctly, he is averaging 119 yards per game against the MVFC at 4.56 yards per carry. Can you imagine how many yards he would have if he played in the Big Sky?
