The Bison advance to the finals of the Cable Car Classic defeating Santa Clara 91-85 and will take on Rider tonight at 10:15 pm. The Bison enter the game at 3-3 and Rider is 2-3. Rider defeated Rice to get to the championship.

Rider comes in at 2-3 with wins over Central Connecticut State and Rice and losses to Lehigh, Purdue, and Albany.

As a heads-up; Last night I had trouble getting the stream until later in the game.
But, I have lots of trouble getting hooked into the online streams all the time.

I guess these tournaments don't need a huge sponsor, big attendance, and mega bucks to run. Going off tangent from the BSA tourney thread. I wouldn't be opposed to having MAAC, Big West, OVC, etc teams up for a tourney. I bet it would draw better than the ones the Bison seem to go to.

He was really solid tonight, not only did he score but he gives us another ball handler that we really needed. Defensively he needs to get better but love what I saw tonight. Should see plenty of action Monday and he will only get more confident.

Felt was just terrific tonight, really played well.

Another great showing by NDSU who controlled the flow of the game start to finish.

Dupree really does bring an element that NDSU has been sorely lacking. Braun will have to learn to play off the ball a little more but that should be a good thing down the road. Now we just need to find a way to get Vanderjagt and Werner some minutes when they come back healthy.

They shot something like 62% and scored 87 points. Great weekend in Califirnia. Carlin ready to help ball handling now. Nobody was more pissed about the loss to north Dakota. It's one game. Trying to support these kids. Good rebound performance.

This tourney was no big deal since the Bison should beat those teams. Bison won.......congrats. Not convinced Saul is as good a coach as some of you believe. Love Saul, nice guy, but something is missing. I think the Bison players are pretty good but Saul doesn't get the best out of them or get anyone to step up and lead consistently. I'm excited about how this team responded from the debacle in GF. They went out to Cali and played with some fire and looked pretty good offensively even though Braun had some struggles. Really liked the brief minutes Carlin provided, it is a dynamic the team has been missing.

Thanks Road. Noticed the same thing watching the San Diego St. games this weekend, they let them play.

IMO, the team will be just fine in the games they are allowed to play tough, physical defense but struggle to adjust when it is called tight. We shall see how it plays out.

That is a common theme right now in D1 hoops. Coaches trying to coach to how games are going to be called now. There are going to be some hit and miss games with these new rules. There is no flow in certain games.
