After a very disappointing performance in the hell hole they call Grand Forks the Bison Men will now travel out west again for the Cable Car Classic in California. The Bison will play the late game Friday against the host school Santa Clara out of the West Coast Conference. The Bison off to a slow 2-3 start need to right some serious issues if they are going to accomplish their goals, going out to California and winning two games would be the start they need.

About Santa Clara:


The Santa Clara Broncos men's basketball team represents Santa Clara University, located in Santa Clara, California, in NCAA Division I basketball competition. They play their home games at the Leavey Center and have been members of the West Coast Conference since its formation in 1952. Santa Clara has a long history of basketball success, having appeared in 11 NCAA Tournaments and 3 National Invitational Tournaments and producing a number of both collegiate All-Americans and NBA players. Their current head coach is Kerry Keating, who assumed the role in 2007 after four seasons as an assistant at UCLA. -WIKI

Santa Clara is off to a 2-2 start to the season. They have wins over non D1 Bethesda University and San Jose State University and losses to Cal State Fullerton and Notre Dame. They were very strong last season and did lose some good players due to graduation but do have some nice players and compete in a solid WCC conference.

Apparently you don't realize this game is the day after Thanksgiving. Follow that with a game on Saturday, followed by a game in Fargo on Monday.

Couple thoughts...great free throw shooting especially by Braun...wow, he was 19 for 19? Crazy. That Santa Clara team is obviously young, but wow they are athletic and weren't missing many 3s. Good win on their court. Hopefully win tomorrow night and keep the streak of playing well in these early season tournies.

After midnight -- I checked out the video stream on my PC.
The quality of the video was quite poor. I'd guess not enough light in the gym, or maybe old cameras? Low color contrast and a rather hazy look. On the other hand, the audio portion was very good.

youre older than me and dont know him? haha. played for valley city high school then texas-san antonio. transferred to ndsu for 2 years? then ended up at valley city state. haha. had a few good games for us but nothing special
