UNI comes to town Wednesday evening at 7pm
In their last game the Panthers lost to the Jacks on Sunday 80-44
They had a very slow start in that contest.

UNI beat UND recently 61-56 at home. They won the TO battle 22-10. Should be a good matchup. At least it will give us an idea where we are at this point of the season.

You mean you have no idea where we are at??? Be barely beat a Div II team..lost to a team that was 4-24 last year and was whipped by Harvard....

I'll tell you where we are at...right at the bottom of the Summit and one of the worst teams in Div I

Checked the live stats - kind of an offensive explosion.

Stat of the game so far: NDSU is 2-6 on FTs, UNI is 12-16. All tied up with 13 minutes to play - the scoring pace has slowed to a crawl.

Up by 11 with 5:28 left and lose 86-82 wow, just wow. This team just has not figured out how to win, sad. Brooke Lemar fouls out with 24 points and we can't score after that.

Tough loss, gotta find a way to close those games at home out.

They were lost without Lemar. Most of her fouls were charging or trying to draw the charge.

I thought they were all pretty good calls against her, she did not.

Breske looks good, spier will get a lot better.

Both teams are so young.

I thought uh-oh when LeMar fouled out.

How is the Aussie Guard Whatman? Good potential??

Some of our young post players put up good numbers. Whittle, Breske, Johnson.

Team still adjusting to the tighter game that refs are calling this season. The enforcement should benefit guards on the offensive side of things....but LeMar needs to adjust her game if she is picking up charges.

If there was a positive from the game, it was Hannah Breske. A true freshman from Casselton, who scored 15 points on 7-9 shooting in 22 minutes of playing time. She has a nice mid range jump shot.

Lemar: 2 fouls in last five minutes, UNI goes on a 14-1 run..... I mentioned earlier that this kid has to adjust. We're sh*t without her on the floor. she has 16 fouls in four games... ugh

She looked a little lost in the exhibition games, but now she seems to have adjusted very well.

she was lost in the first ex game for sure... since the second ex-game (20pts 10 assts 5 boards) she has played up to expectations... minus the fouls. Since I saw her play at the wellness center over a year ago, I knew she could be a special player

Yep, gotta keep her on the floor.

Sometimes when everybody is doubting a team, it makes them come together.

Just making sure we are talking about the same "she", I was talking about Hanna Breske, and I think you are talking about Brook LeMar.
The doubt you were watching Hannah Breske in the Wellness Center over a year ago :)

So far I think there is a lot of potential on this team.
Spier is just new to the game.
Whatman at times looks good, then at times not so.
Same goes for Bechen. Although I see a lot of improvement in Bechen from last year, I think LeMar is a good teacher.

The mid range jumper....a lost art form.

I don't know if position means anything with this team because everybody seems to be wing players, but technically, if you insert Breske in the line-up you have one guard and 4 forwards. that's a pretty unconventional line-up. However if Lemar (G), Breske (F), Whittle (F), Johnson (F), Keena (F) are your five best, what the hey. I don notice that Whatman is second in assists on the team to laMar and no one else is even in the ballpark. Plus maybe Breske is really good because she comes off the bench.
