I don't post or comment much on here, but I noticed something weird with the tickets. Last year Brock was featured on the Indiana state ticket and he had the worst game of his career. Last week Grant was featured on the ticket and we all know what happened with him. There have been other incidences of this but I can't remember them right now. Did anyone else notice how ironic this is?

I started a similar thread last year, when 4 of the 6 players pictured had significant injuries.

If it was "The Injury Prevention Awareness Bowl"...............then it would be ironic.

But since it's just a regular game......I would chalk it up to a terrible and unfortunate coincidence.

I'm sure that this chick would disagree with me but she's Canadian.

At the Trees Bowl they give away thousands of trees that are shortly thereafter killed.

That's because it's basically to late to plant the little bastards!!

I pass on the trees because I am yet to have one grow a millimeter.

I know it! And those trees suck anyway. I planted two of them one year and they weren't even hearty enough to stand up to the lawn mower! Weaksauce! Where are those trees from? Whoville??

We have had mild success with the trees. 2 of 5 are alive and growing should have been 3 of 5 but the kids had a little mishap while mowing. The oak trees we have tried died over the first winter.

2 of ours have survived over a year planted one 3 years ago still growing this year planted 2 last year. One died actually mowed both of them since they both looked dead this spring the one grew needles back. Got lucky and got oak trees this year, pretty sure rabbit took care of one working on 2nd.

I've got two oaks in my backyard, one about six feet tall. Both are producing acorns for me.
