Gopher fans are excited and I don't blame them. But the reality is Nebraska has been exposed and is a terrible team. Their #24 ranking is is a joke. Sorry but when a South Dakota State running back runs for 200 in the first half (and we hold him to 4 yards) - you suck really bad!!! Wyoming almost best them. And the Gophers still have zero quality wins.

WTH do you call a quality win then?? a team that was getting beat by FCS schools regularly has dealt with coaching issues beat a traditional powerhouse that was ranked #24

I like our chances vs Nebraska. Defense wins and when sdsu puts up nearly 500 yards against them, we would run the ball down their throats and we wouldn't turn the ball over 3 times like sdsu.. Nebraska can't stop anyone on the ground

Our defense would never allow 645 yards of offense to Nebraska.

So basically you think the Gophers would beat us?

Just because sdsu has no defense doesn't mean the offense wasn't rolling down the field. Nebraska D hasn't been worthy of black shirts for years. Minnesota didn't beat a great team. They are severely over rated because they have a "N" on their helmet. Any other team wouldn't have been sniffing the top 25.

Agree on the first part, but they aren't that overrated. Most before the season had the conferences rated as (I guess this could be debated, but I thought this was the general consensus)
SEC
PAC12
ACC
B1G
Big 12
MWC
Big East/AAC
MAC
CUSA

Rivalry, road game, and familiarity. Sloppy field conditions. Plus sdsu went back to their real defense not the lame scheme they changed to to apparently defend spread teams better. What a failed experiment. Revamp a top #10 defense. Wow

Sagarin does respect their performance thus far, 4th in the predictor, unlike teams like Fordham or Coastal Carolina who he's got 26th and 18th in FCS. I agree, it'll be interesting to see if they can keep it up. They've got the meat of their conference schedule in front of them yet.

Their 69-3 win over Wofford in which they put up 700 yards opened my eyes a little. I know they aren't the same as last year but that was an ass whooping. Call it a gut feeling. 71-7 over Iowa State! I know they are 1-6 but that's an ass whooping
