Here's the manual they use. I'm sure it's been updates since this, but it's still a solid base.

So do we want to get a giant traveling flag and retractable pole and Fedex them from week to week like they do?

I'd recommend UPS

I'd recommend UPS

I wouldn't. UPS is the only company that will blame an overnight delivery failure from Minneapolis to Fargo on a thunderstorm in Florida.

Eugene - Check.

Two Bison flags there today. We just got back home and are going to start watching the Bison game before reviewing the Gameday recording.

I worked for FedEx. I would recommend UPS. FedEx would find some way to shatter the flag. Yes, shatter a piece of fabric. I'm pretty sure they could do that.

I know UPS could do that. Then they'll forge your signature when it's required, just throw the box on your steps, and blame the damage on a natural act not under their control.

Question of the week was: Who are the 3 remaining undefeated teams in FCS. Herbstreit immediately said NDSU.

Nobody guessed the other 2......Fordham and Coastal Carolina. A couple mentions of the NDSU Bison thrown in.

Remember location of the flag is important for it to be seen on TV. The Flag has to be large like WS.

If we really want the Bison flag on TV every week, it might be better to see if the alumni association can spread the word. The other person flying the flag in Eugene never visits bisonville.com. :(

gumby013

I think we need to:

1. Get a 10 foot yellow flag and one of the retractable poles.
2. A registry with the alumni association.

That isn't exactly how it played out.

True, Herbie did say NDSU Bison, but he didn't let Fowler finish the bet. Fowler said there were three unbeaten FCS teams, name one "other than the North Dakota State Bison". Herbie then looked off screen to the head research guy they have had on a lot this year looking for help, then the former David Pollack blurted out "Eastern Michigan", to which Herbie said something like, "oh yeah, Eastern Washington". Fowler was waving them all off and gave up the two teams.

Perhaps the best part was when Desmond Howard got a text from his former coach at Michigan, Ron English, now HC at Eastern Michigan, who wanted to thank everyone for the props, saying "we need all help we can to get to be mentioned on ESPN GameDay.

Cool. Your best prop is getting mentioned in the same breath as North Dakota State and undefeated FCS teams.

This, from the MAC, who many on here would die for an invitation from.

Such an exhilirating game last night between two of the MAC front runners Ohio and Buffalo. I loved how the announcers said it was a good crowd when half the seats were empty. Sloppy football and horrible atmosphere.

When did you see the crowd, late in the blowout game? UB Stadium has a capacity of 29,003 and attendance on official stats was 22,918. That's about 4,000 more than the Fargo Dome can accommodate. With an average attendance in 2012 at Buffalo at 13,242, I'd say 23,000 is a good crowd, too.

What?! In what world is 79% capacity a good crowd? An there was no way there was that many people there. There may have been that many people that PAID to be there, but there was nowhere near that many in attendence.

Tim Bourdon was the TRUE master of all announced attendance. It is an announced attendance with such style that it will likely never be seen at NDSU again! ;)
