Ryan McGlynn, Sue Faus, and Coach Jerry Gores will be the 42nd class of honorees to be inducted into the Bison Hall of Fame.
Ryan was our first great pole vaulter and a helluva multi-eventer. He used to drink milk like I drank beer. Weird. Sue was better known for basketball, but she was the first woman to break 56 in the 400 for the Bison. And Jerry was responsible for elevating the women's program to what it is today. Before him, NDSU had some distance runners (Nancy Dietmann, Bev Weiman) but not the full compliment of athletes we have today. When Coach Godfrey took over, he had a full cupboard thanks to Jerry Gores.
Congrats to these folks! This honor is very well deserved by all three of them.
