Tyler Lehmann is wrestling this year.

This guy will do some damage this year. He is ranked #16 and has not wrestled a match in college yet. He is AA material right now.

Can't wait for this season. Just as a reminder, this poll is based on tournament strength (basically how many people can you place and how many bonus points can you get?) and not duals. Just don't want people to freak out because not sure how good of a dual team we'll be. But pumped to watch Monk

Should be a pretty good dual team.....165 to HWT should be pretty good. Monk-Zillmer/Julson-Lehmann-Lehmann-Knutson....my guesses. Plus LaValle transferring in and Bengtson coming in from St Cloud. IMO, should be a good dual team, esp later in the year.

Why is he a sophomore?

Redshirt last year I assume. Gobison.com does not have Preston Lehmann on the roster. Anyone in the know on why he is not on the roster?

so shouldn't he be a freshman?

I would guess since he 'trained at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs for one and a half years following a decorated high school career' plays a factor.

This is how it was explained to me so I would say you are correct. no clue on Preston, but his twitter feed indicates he is still intending to wrestle for NDSU

Roster now says Tyler Redshirt freshman and Preston is there now too. Both are freshman, that is great! They have a ton on the roster and appear to be very young. If rated highly nationally by the end of this year, look out by the time they are mostly upperclassman! (and yes, I know Monk will be a HUGE loss)

Wouldn't surprise me if both Lehmann brothers were AAs this year.

BOLD statement. I hope you are right.

DISCLAIMER: BORING STORY TO MOST

When me and Tyler were in 8th grade, we both went to state...I went at 125 lbs...and he went at 112 lbs....when he came back to ND to wrestle our senior year....he was wrestling 189 I think? and I was at 145 lbs. HUGE difference in weight gain.

Both have the potential to do it. Now doing it is up to them.

Bison should have a good dual and tourney team this year.

Kish is doing a great job as head coach.

Jeff Klopack on the Sunday night chat just said Tyler Lehman is ineligible until the spring. It's "what he's heard" but would be surprised if that wasn't the case otherwise he probably wouldn't say that.

With his championship, it looks like Rodriguez is going to be pretty good after he red-shirts this year too. This is definitely a team on the rise.

He doesn't seem to have any team affiliation on trackwrestling.com either. Most guys are listed as (unattached, NDSU).

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Was (or is) there a difference in how the heavier weights work out compared to the lighter weights? Volume, intensity, weights vs. bodyweight exercises?

Wisconsin has a few guys ranked:

125: #10
133: #6
157: #6
HWT: #10

Lower weights need to come thru for the Bison to win this one. 165-174-184-197 the Bison will be strong.

Common opponent was UNI. Bison lost 29-12 and the Badgers lost 29-9.

Bison can win this but need to wrestle well...esp on the road.
