I know probably dozens of posts about gameday and it's location and people whining about it have been made but I found this link over on ags and it makes me excited about what this could do for our university. I think it warrants its own thread as there could be plenty to discuss about it. Mods, if you think otherwise, please move it.

Wow! I had no idea of the impact. I was a disser of the downtown Fargo location, but after reading and seeing this, if ESPN GameDay wants to broadcast from the Dairy Farm outhouse, I'm OK with that. Bring it on!!!

I think the article is a good reason why we need to blow this up and break a record. Its kinda our one shot.

I am thinking that Gene Taylor's comment was right a couple years ago. He thought that the ESPNs and Fox Sports of the world will have to start scrambling for content as all the big conferences were setting up their own networks. I am glad we gave Fox Sports One a good game.
