I hear ya. When I first heard, like many others, I wondered WTF? Downtown? This guy is a producer for the premier show on ESPN, he knows what the hell works and what doesn't. Yeah, it may not be ideal with regard to proximity to the FFD, but oh well. I'm excited to see how this all plays out.

I cant stand the lay out, and its going to look like the fargo marathon between the buildings. Theres no wide range for the crowd to hang out...when the camera focuses on Herby, or howard...itll be buildings. not people/signs..this could change if they move it more onto the us bank plaza and use that entire parking lot for people to stand..but we gotta get the theater sign in there.

the more research a guy does around this...the more it makes me think we should try to get 15,000+ downtown and then the entire crowd walks back to the dome (coolers in tow) at 11am. Might be some kind of a new Game Day tradition.
