No matter what your thoughts about the Gameday location, we still can make this EPIC. Hopefully they get shuttles going to help alleviate the traffic issues that will be occurring. No matter what, if you want to be there, you WILL have to be there at 5:30 am or earlier.

WE ARE BISON NATION! LET'S SHOW THE WORLD WHO WE REALLY ARE!

I agree. I don't like the selected location, but I am not about to miss my one and only chance to attend College Gameday in Fargo, ND. They are here because of our football team, they will give us plenty of pub/airtime, and we should all do our best to make them never forget their time in Fargo. I'm sure this isn't the first time that hosting fans have been upset about set location.

Let's just get this done. Remember the bitching about tailgating and MN fairgrounds, some 5 or better miles from stadium?!?!? Remember how that turned out?!?!?!

There are several bars withing immediate striking distance of the location. I bet the owners are pumped!!

Let's get this done, and done right peeps!!

yep, site is selected, we need to focus our energy on getting students and people to the site

No matter what NDSU will still be the focal point

Lots open at 7 go in get set up, hop on the shuttle to downtown be there for an hour head back and still get the same amount of tailgating, after all lots were not going to open till what 9-9:30 so we can still do this

Nice post Charlie. I ran into a 6'4" dude tonight at the Mill with a Bison cap and this was his comment. He didn't like the location at first, but after watching GameDay for many years he said that they never have a location where there is tailgating, as their major sponsor is coke Zero and they don't want any Coors Lights in the background. Should be an awsome venue.

For the sake of Montana and Montana St fans that read this board, lets not mention goats. We don't want a frenzy here!

True! Put your drinks down and hangout down town! Other than the tailgating section as a possible for the back ground, why would this show want to have the FargoDome as the background?? I think the location is perfect! Wish they just shut down Broadway and have the show on the street. But good lord! Appreciate the ESPN recognition. Plan to get there by 5am to be on national TV (regularly seen by 15 million). It's Delaware St. Blowout. I'm Thinkin Bison win 67-6. Downtown is a great backdrop for our city! Lets just get some good representation out at the US Bank Plaza!

Sounds like they are shutting down Broadway from NP to the tracks...expanding and or shrinking as necessary----according to FPD

...which is another reason this "choice" simply didn't come only from ESPN. It's not a location NDSU could say "yes' to in the first place, unless Bresciani himself has the power to order the closing off of downtown when he deems it necessary.

At this point, Gene Taylor might have that much power.

Maybe Taylor does, but he would only have that power because of rubbing elbows with Chapman!

Our fan base will NEVER disappoint. They will be there and put on one heck of a show for ESPN. We will be watching you all with beers in hand here from WYO...........

Craig Bohl has that much power. He probably told Gene to keep that circus as far away from his players as possible. :)
