Each week Gameday has a celebrity (i use that term loosely) come out and pick games with them at the end. Any guesses as to who that will be this week?

Please no St Peter. If they do have an UND grad, I would be ok with Chuck Klosterman. He's affiliated with ESPN (Grantland), and has had many positive things to say about the NDSU program during this run. He's someone who is knowledgeable about college football and NDSU as well as someone who has a national following.

Big time UND fan. That would be a terrible idea. Good actor and a cool guy but wrong team!

I think Joe Mays or Craig Dahl would be a good choice

Older players like Steve Nelson or Phil Hanson obviously. Steve Nelson would be neat since many Bison fans don't know him since he played in the 60s teams and retired from the nfl in the late 80s. He's on the Patriots Hall Of Fame and his # is retired . Multiple pro bowler

"Football may be a special case, but there are those who question whether moving to Division Iaa is really a move up at all. Both Northern Colorado and NDSU were ranked in the top 25 during their first years in D Iaa. What do you guys think this really says about the level of competition at this so-called next level? For each of the last few years, the National Playoff in division IAA had about half the ESPN audience of the division II Playoff. What does that really say about status and "exposure?"

Jeff Bridges' mother-in-law lives in Fargo.
I've met her. While doing some geriatric research at NDSU, I interviewed her. Had no idea who she was. I asked about some pictures on her mantle of a couple cute little girls, and she brought out the family photo album. Then I started recognizing both names and faces... Beau, Lloyd, Jeff, etc.

Pretty cool story actually. Jeff and her daughter met while Jeff was filming a movie in Colorado. The daughter was going to school at the time. (Maybe Colorado State?) They fell in love, and when she came home to tell her mother that she was in love with a Hollywood actor, her mother didn't like it so much. But then she saw Jeff was a pretty good guy afterall.

She was working on a Dude ranch in the Livingston area when Bridges was there filming "Rancho Deluxe"

Well, now that this topic is settled, time to go scout for some geese.

Btw, I see Bison Gal as a nice addition to this board. :)

Izzy is NOT scary. Forgive the comparison to Lakes but, Izzy is not really like his "online personna". Don't get me wrong, he does like the gals but he's not nearly as creepy as his posts might indicate.

* How's that Izzy? Close enough?

If it is Phil, many of us predicted that.
