The program does seem to be off a bit ever since whats his face was essentially given the boot. Of course, how do replace the payers we had as well it seems we have stepped up the competition. One has to take all of that into account---not as bad as one might think!

Also the 26-9 record? How about the 20-11 record from '10 that also included an NCAA trip. Or the 13 game streak in 09 part of the 23-4 season. How about the 24-4 08 season with an NCAA trip. Or 20-8 in 07. Thats a pretty impressive 5 year run.

That was with Hinterstocker as coach.

Thompson has a lot to prove with her recruits. That 5 year run should have pulled in good recruits to reload every year. How long does Thompson get?

I am not taking credit for anything. The staff and the players should to raise their skill level. Right now their skill level and play design looks like they are 30-20 years behind, compared to some of the best teams in the nation.

Why would you get rid of a really good VB coach (that Minnesota has now hired as a full time assistant) hired a Soccer Club coach that has never coached college or recruited before and keeps a WBB coach that obviously recruits kids that cannot compete in the Summit league. We lost to High Point...High Fkdjljd Point......its a school with an enrollment of 4000 and most of the kids are enrolled in a seminary.

I've been thinking about this. I think the end of the fall semester would be a perfect time to "retire".

Use the spring as a five month national search and have an interim in the meantime. I say seek universities with successful women's athletics across the board and start headhunting their women's sports assistant ADs.
