Bohl will have the Bison ready.

Gus should invite the Bison down for a week of practice in Jax.

For who? The players or the fans?

If it's going to be that hot, I have a feeling half the Bison fans will be passed out by the 4th quarter. :)

Well the next week it is suppose to be mid 90s down to high 80s up here and usually is fairly humid so don't think weather will affect these guys as Bohl had them out there practicing on Tuesday (on field turf so it probably was hotter still) when heat index was 100-105 with 97 degree air temp. Then they had to come in and sign autographs for 2 hours for all the rabid Bison fans.

I'm wondering how it will play a factor? Ndsu has been practicing in 90 plus for the past week. We are well conditioned and our depth helps. I like how one of your fans said we would get tired in the fourth because it will be too hot. Clearly that guys never been here in the summer

Remember when the team was practicing in blowing snow and -10's? What a reversal of fortune.

Gotta frickin' love ND.

Best thread ever started by a KSTATEer

coming from Vegas i am not worried about some cute temp in the 90's, might melt from the humidity though. I will do home sauna training this weekend, so no worries guys we are good

My liver and I have been in full training since the beginning of May. I will be well hydrated so the humidity won't be a factor (even if I'm not there).

Dude, you've had it easy this summer. This has been the coolest summer for a long time. It's usually 10x worserestier.

http://www.cnn.com/2013/06/24/politics/irs-targeting Yep, there were a few progressive groups, but the majority of the targeting was done to conservative groups. If you read sources other CNN you might get something closer to the truth. By the way that article just says some progressive / liberal groups were targeted, but nothing to compare actual numbers.

Next 5 days in Fargo, highs in the mid 90's. Looks very similar to the Manhattan, KS forecast on game day.

Hey KStater,
I do agree that Kansas Heat w/humidity that we aren't use to is going to be a factor. Cramping up and dehydration are going to come into play next Friday.
Going 4 qtrs in this heat could be brutal for our team. Luckily we are still in our summer furs up here so we just have to drink up. AS for the fans well, you know they do what they do..... barley pop may cause some fans to pass out as well, who knows....?

Can you borrow some misters and fans for our Herd on the side lines please? We use bench heaters up here in the north country, well that was the old days. These players are pampered to much if you ask me.

Does NDSU have the same training staff as they did back when the guys had to go play Southland teams in some incredibly hot and muggy places. It didn't seem to phase the guys a bit back then.

Yes, AFAIK. Jim Kramer had a lot to do with those games. End of the third quarter and the SLC teams would have their hands on their hips and the Herd was still crescent fresh.

The Nicholls State game in Louisiana in 2004 was the hottest, muggiest weather I have ever encountered. We won.

Even had thunder and lightning here in Portland this morning and that only happens once or twice a year down in the lowlands.
